CHISEL PLOUGH FOR QUALITY DEEP SOIL CULTIVATION

The TERRALAND TN mounted chisel plough is a machine for deep soil cultivation up to a depth of 65 centimetres. What makes this machine a success is the fact that it can replace tillage, and when compared with a plough, it works deeper, faster and with lower demands on the tractor power. The TERRALAND TN chisel plough is manufactured with two working width options of 3 and 4 metres. The properties of TERRALAND TN make it suitable for deep loosening and incorporation of large quantities of organic matter.

TWO TERRALAND TN VERSIONS

Two depth levels of soil cultivation, two types of protection.

TERRALAND TN is manufactured in two versions, TN_D with a maximum working depth of 65 cm, and TN_M with a maximum working depth of 55 cm. The leg protection in both versions is either mechanical using shear bolts, or hydraulic auto-reset leg protection.

NEW TERRALAND TN 4000 HD9

Working width 4 m, transport width 3 m.

The mounted TERRALAND TN 4000HD9 chisel plough is equipped with 9 legs with a spacing of 45 cm. The individual legs are fitted with hydraulic auto-reset protection. The TERRALAND TN 4000 HD9 chisel plough has a transport width of 3 m to ensure trouble-free transport on roads. The TN 4000 HD9 chisel plough can be also equipped with the rear V-RING packer.

Deep loosening
Subsoil tillage

The TERRALAND TN chisel plough in combination with Active-Mix legs and spiked rollers is suitable for deep loosening. The special shape of the legs provides easy soil penetration, and excellent loosening and mixing effect. In one pass, the soil profile is loosened in depth and the soil surface is intensely mixed and levelled.

The TERRALAND TN frame can be equipped with special Zero-Mix legs, with a negative angle, and the heavy steel Cutpack for subsoil tillage without active mixing of soil. This operation is suitable for disrupting hardened soil layers, aerating the soil profile, and creating a proper soil environment.

ASSEMBLED PARTS

The advantage for you? A longer service life.

The individual parts of the TERRALAND TN chisel plough are assembled, not welded. The assembled parts (legs to frames, internal frames to leg beams) have a multiple-times longer service life than when those exposed parts are welded together.

DEEP LOOSENING AND SOIL CRUMBLING

Two operations in one pass save time and money.

The TERRALAND TN chisel plough consists of two rows of legs, followed by tandem spiked rollers. Active legs provide deep soil loosening, tandem spiked rollers overlap and offer an excellent crumbling effect. The advantage of the rollers is that they can be adjusted according to the required work, for example, in rocky soils.

TERRALAND TN 4000

The TERRALAND TN 3000 machine frame can be equipped with five or seven legs. The spacing of legs when five are used is 60 centimetres. When seven legs are used on the TERRALAND TN frame, the spacing is 40 centimetres. This design offers even better loosening and mixing of soil profile.

The TERRALAND TN 4000 machine frame can be equipped with seven or nine legs. The spacing of legs when seven are used is 56.5 centimetres. The model with nine legs offers spacing of 42.5 centimetres.

A WIDE RANGE OF POINTS AND WINGS

Modify your machine according to your conditions.

ACTIVE-MIX tines can be equipped with points with a width of 70 mm for intense loosening, or with a width of 40 mm for demanding conditions and deep work. The tine wings undercut the disrupted bottom layer to eliminate clod formation. Points and wings are also available in the extremely durable LONG LIFE version (40 mm, 55 mm and 70 mm). The deeper you work, the narrower the point should be.

COMBINATION WITH FERTILISER HOPPERS

Precise fertiliser batching thanks to BEDNAR pressurised hoppers suitable for supplementary fertilisation into soil profile in one pass.

COMBO SYSTEM CS

The FERTI-BOX FB_F front mounted hopper is primarily designed for supply fertilisation directly in the soil profile and has a capacity of 1,900-2,200 litres. Fertiliser is pneumatically distributed from the front hopper to the distribution head mounted on the chisel plough.

The FERTI-CART FC is trailed cart which has a capacity of 3,500 litres. The orifice of the plastic hopper has a large inclination that allows to apply lower-quality fertilisers. The TERRALAND TN chisel plough bar is easily connected using a three-point hitch.

The COMBO SYSTEM CS double-chamber air-cart has a total capacity of 5,000 litres. The chisel plough is connected in the three-point hitch of the cart. The cart design enables applying two types of fertiliser in one pass, or use both tanks for one fertiliser.

Although it is a new machine, the complete support frame of the TERRADUO DN and the individual structural elements (ACTIVE-MIX and ZERO-MIX legs) are based on the time-tested machines of the TERRALAND TN series. Chisel working section

The chisel section layout ensures excellent loosening effect and mixing of crop residue with soil up to a depth of 65 centimetres. Two types of legs are available for deep loosening or subsoil tillage.

Leg protection

Each leg is individually protected, either hydraulically, or mechanically with the shear bolt.

Side deflectors

Maintain cultivated soil along the working width without the risk of side ridge formation.

Additional side rollers

The additional side spiked rollers perfectly level any potential ridges created on the sides of the machine.

Rear spiked packers

Rear tandem rollers with a diameter of 245 mm have overlapping spikes that provide excellent self-cleaning effect.

OUR INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES

HIGH-STRENGTH STEEL FRAME

The high robustness and durability of the TERRALAND chisel plough frame are provided by the high-strength Alform steel, thanks to which the chisel plough can process soil at a maximum working depth.

LONG-LIFE POINTS AND WINGS

The point and the entire abrasion area of the abrasion point are covered with plates made of sintered carbides. The front part of the wings is made of carbide plates that minimise wear and tear in the width and maintain the same shape and functionality the whole time. The LONG LIFE model offers up to ten times longer service time when compared with the standard model, ensures a consistent working depth and quality of work, improves recessing, and provides lower costs and time saved by replacing working parts.

PROFILE FERTILISATION AND DEEP LOOSENING IN ONE PASS

The system of profile fertilisation is one of the most efficient methods to maintain a sufficiently balanced nutrient supply in soil, not only in the arable horizon, but also in deeper layers of the soil profile. This innovative method of fertiliser application connected to deep soil cultivation is not only suitable for replenishing deficit nutrients in soil to reach a balanced level of a good supply, but also to improve accessibility of nutrients to plants, and it also has a positive effect on the growth of the root system.

Hydraulic leg protection

Comfortable hydraulic AUTO-RESET leg protection for rocky and extremely hardened soils. The release force of each tine starts at 1000 kg and ends at 1500 kg.

Mechanical leg protection

Mechanical leg protection with a shear bolt. A suitable design for light soils without rocks.

Additional side deflectors - hydraulically adjustable

They keep cultivated soil along the working width without the risk of side ridge formation. The side deflectors offer comfortable folding into the working position from the tractor cabin using the hydraulic circuit.

The support wheels maintain the set working depth and lighten the load on the pulling vehicle.

Tine section

ACTIVE-MIX legs

Designed for intense deep loosening up to 55/65 centimetres. The ACTIVE-MIX legs disrupt, intensely loosen soil and mix it with crop residue.

ZERO-MIX legs

The negative angle provides subsoil tillage without active mixing at a depth of up to 55/65 centimetres. The negative angle does not mix soil, disturbs the hardened layers intensely and aerates the soil profile.

Rollers and packers

TANDEM SPIKED Packer

Rear tandem rollers with a diameter of 245 mm have overlapping spikes. The overlapping arrangement of the spikes provides a self-cleaning effect. The machine can work in the most extreme conditions without clogging. The rollers can be moved, for example, in rocky soils. Weight: 157 kg/m. The packer is suitable for use with ACTIVE-MIX legs.

CUTPACK Packer + scrapers

CUTPACK is a heavy steel packer with high cutting abilities and an excellent reverse consolidation effect. Suitable for heavy soils. Packer diameter 630 mm. Weight: 222 kg/m (including scrapers). The packer is suitable for use with ZERO-MIX legs.

Rear rollers

V-RING Packer + Scrapers

V-RING is a heavy steel packer suitable for intense crumbling and reverse soil consolidation. Suitable for all types of soil. Packer diameter 630 mm. The packer is equipped with scrapers that prevent it clogging. The V-RING packer is only available for the TERRALAND TN 4000HD9 model.

AGRONOMICAL GUIDE

DEEP SOIL CULTIVATION

Deep soil cultivation has its proven advantages, and it can completely replace standard tillage when carried out at the right time and in the right way. Deep cultivation enables root systems to develop, disrupts compacted layers and the plough basin, and creates optimal soil environment for proper functional water and air conditions of soil. BEDNAR machines can carry out deep loosening up to the maximum depth of 65 centimetres. It is recommended to add profile fertilisation in one pass, to provide soil with essential nutrients.
