Inter-row cultivation: 5 points where BEDNAR…
Discover how BEDNAR's ROW-MASTER cultivators excel in inter-row cultivation with innovative features. Optimize efficiency and yields sustainably....
TERRALAND TN chisel ploughs are well known as machines for deep soil cultivation. They are able to loosen soil deeper than standard cultivators in one pass. The machine disrupts the subsoil layer and removes compacted soil layers that prevent water, air and nutrients to penetrate to the roots, and proper growth of the root system. In combination with the ACTIVE-MIX tines, the machine provides quality deep cultivation, crop residue mixing and incorporation and soil surface levelling in one pass.
ACTIVE-MIX tines have 3x pointed working angle for subsoil tillage and active crop residue mixing
The negative angle of the ZERO-MIX tines prevents active mixing. The tines are good for disrupting compacted soil layers and starting up proper functional regime
However, due to the recent climate change, farmers have been preferring deep soil cultivation, but without active mixing to avoid increased soil moisture evaporation during the dry season. For the subsoil tillage operation, the machine can be equipped with ZERO-MIX tines with a negative angle that prevent the loosening and mixing effect, and minimally disrupt the soil surface. In combination with this equipment, you will be able to revive your soil structure, disrupt compacted layers and achieve proper air and water regime in the soil.
Tandem spiked packers help crush the clods and level the surface after the tines. The overlapping arrangement of the spikes provides a self-cleaning effect.
The heavy steel packer helps with the final consolidation and closure of the soil surface to avoid any unnecessary evaporation of soil moisture
Emphasis also has to be put on the proper selection of the rear packers that close the processed soil profile. To prepare soil, we recommend using the rear spiked packers with an excellent crumbling effect in combination with the ACTIVE-MIX tines. On the other hand, subsoil tillage with the ZERO-MIX tines should only be done with the heavy steel packer called Cutpack, which closes the processed soil profile and creates a furrowed surface that absorbs precipitation better.
The conditions in agriculture are very variable; what applies one year, does not have to apply in the following year. By purchasing the TERRALAND TN chisel plough, you will get a great advantage in the future, for example, if you need to change the way you work.

The machine frame is made of the high-strength Alform steel. It makes the machine construction robust and maximally durable for processing soil in large depths. Moreover, the individual parts of the TERRALAND TN chisel plough are assembled, not welded. The assembled parts (tines to frames, internal frames to tine beams) have a multiple-times longer service life than when those exposed parts are welded together. You can order the TERRALAND TN chisel plough equipped with the ACTIVE-MIX tines or ZERO-MIX tines from the production plant in relation to the anticipated use of the machine. If you are planning to use the machine for both deep cultivation and subsoil tillage, just order both sets of tines. Or you can decide to purchase the other set of tines any time when using the machine. Replacing the working parts is easy, quick, and they can also be used for already delivered and used machines.
