The TERRALAND TN mounted ripper is a tool for deep tillage up to a depth of 25.5″. What makes this implement a success is the fact that it can replace traditional tillage, and when compared with a plough, it works deeper, faster and with lower demands on the tractor power. The TERRALAND TN ripper is manufactured with two working width options of 9′ 10″ ft and 13′ 1″. The properties of TERRALAND TN make it suitable for deep loosening and incorporation of large quantities of organic matter.

The TERRALAND TN_S model is the entry-level variant in the BEDNAR range of subsoilers. The machine is available with a working width of 2.5 m and can be equipped with five legs with a spacing of 47.5 cm or seven legs with a spacing of 31.5 cm. Mechanical leg protection is standard equipment. The maximum working depth is 45 cm.

The TERRALAND TN_M series includes models with a working width of 3 and 4 m, which are produced with a fixed-frame design. A characteristic feature of this product range is a maximum working depth of 55 cm. The tines are protected either mechanically with shear bolts or hydraulically.

TERRALAND TN_D represents the top product range of BEDNAR subsoilers. The “D” models excel with a maximum working depth of up to 65 cm. These machines are available with a working width of 3 and 4 m in a fixed-frame design, with the exception of the TN 4000 HD9 model, which is the only one offered with a folding design for transport. The legs are protected against overload mechanically using shear bolts or hydraulically (the TN 4000 HD9 model is equipped with hydraulic protection as standard).

The mounted TERRALAND TN 13′ HD9 ripper is equipped with 9 shanks with a spacing of 17.7″.The individual shanks are fitted with hydraulic reset protection. The TERRALAND TN 13′ HD9 ripper has a transport width of 9′ 10″ to ensure trouble-free transport on roads. The TN 13′ HD9 ripper can be also equipped with the rear V-RING packer.

The TERRALAND TN ripper in combination with Active-Mix shanks and spiked rollers is suitable for deep loosening. The special shape of the shanks provides easy soil penetration, and excellent loosening and mixing effect. In one pass, the soil profile is loosened in depth and the soil surface is intensely mixed and levelled.

The TERRALAND TN frame can be equipped with special Zero-Mix shanks, with a negative angle, and the heavy steel Cutpack for subsoiling without active mixing of soil. This operation is suitable for disrupting hardened soil layers, aerating the soil profile, and creating a proper soil environment.

ASSEMBLED PARTS

The advantage for you? A longer service life.

The individual parts of the TERRALAND TN ripper are assembled, not welded. The assembled parts (shanks to frames, internal frames to shank beams) have a multiple-times longer service life than when those exposed parts are welded together.

DEEP LOOSENING AND SOIL CRUMBLING

Two operations in one pass save time and money.

The TERRALAND TN ripper consists of two ranks of shanks, followed by tandem spiked rollers. Active shanks provide deep soil loosening, tandem spiked rollers overlap and offer an excellent crumbling effect. The advantage of the rollers is that they can be adjusted according to the required work, for example, in rocky soils.

WIDE RANGE OF POINTS AND WINGS

Modify your implement according to your conditions.

ACTIVE-MIX shanks can be equipped with points with a width of 2.8″ for intense loosening, or with a width of 1.6″ for demanding conditions and deep work. The shank wings undercut the disrupted bottom layer to eliminate clod formation. Points and wings are also available in the extremely durable LONG LIFE version (1.6″, 2.2″ and 2.8″). The deeper you work, the narrower the point should be.

SIDE DEFLECTORS

Prevents visible lines from forming.

The TERRALAND TN_M and TERRALAND TN_D subsoilers can be equipped with optional side deflectors, which keep the processed material within the working width and prevent the formation of ridges between passes. Side deflectors are available in a mechanically folding version or in a more convenient version with hydraulic folding.

REAR PACKERS

Adjustable according to current conditions.

A significant advantage of the double row spiked packers is the possibility of adjusting their axial distance according to soil conditions. When working in wet soil or with a large amount of crop residues, the rear row of rollers can be moved backwards, which increases their throughput and reduces the risk of clogging. This function is part of the standard equipment of the machine.

Additional side rollers
Support wheels

Additional side rollers with points level perfectly any unevenness that may occur on the sides of the machine between two passes. Mechanically foldable. This is an excellent alternative to side deflectors.

Support wheels keep the set working depth and reduce the load on the tractor’s three-point hitch.

COMBINATION WITH FERTILIZER TANKS

Precise fertilizer batching thanks to BEDNAR pressurised tanks suitable for supplementary fertilization into soil profile in one pass.

COMBO SYSTEM CS
SEED BOX SB

The COMBO SYSTEM CS double-chamber pressurised hopper offers a total hopper capacity of 5,000 litres. The cart design enables placement of two types of fertiliser in one pass, or use both chambers for one fertiliser.

SEED BOX SB is a new product range of front-mounted hoppers from BEDNAR. The hopper is available in a single-chamber design with a total volume of 1,600 litres. Fertiliser is transfered pneumatically from the front hopper to the distribution head located on the subsoiler.

SOIL PROFILE FERTILIZATION AND DEEP LOOSENING IN ONE PASS

The system of soil profile fertilization is one of the most efficient methods to maintain a sufficiently balanced nutrient supply in soil, not only in the arable horizon, but also in deeper layers of the soil profile. This innovative method of fertilizer application connected to deep soil cultivation is not only suitable for replenishing deficit nutrients in soil to reach a balanced level of a good supply, but also to improve accessibility of nutrients to plants, and it also has a positive effect on the growth of the root system.

LONG-LIFE POINTS AND WINGS

The point and the entire abrasion area of the abrasion point are covered with plates made of sintered carbides. The front part of the wings is made of carbide plates that minimise wear and tear in the width and maintain the same shape and functionality the whole time. The LONG LIFE model offers up to ten times longer service time when compared with the standard model, ensures a consistent working depth and quality of work, improves recessing, and provides lower costs and time saved by replacing working parts.

HIGH-STRENGTH STEEL FRAME

The high robustness and durability of the TERRALAND chisel plough frame are provided by the high-strength Alform steel, thanks to which the chisel plough can process soil at a maximum working depth.

Rollers and packers

TANDEM SPIKED Packer

Rear tandem rollers with a diameter of 10″ have overlapping spikes. The overlapping arrangement of the spikes provides a self-cleaning effect. The implement can work in the most extreme conditions without clogging. The rollers can be moved, for example, in rocky soils. Weight: 1136 lb/ft. The packer is suitable for use with Active-Mix shanks.

CUTPACK Packer + scrapers

CUTPACK is a heavy steel packer with a high cutting capability and an excellent reverse compaction effect. Suitable for heavy soils. Packer diameter 25″. Weight: 1606 lb/ft (including scrapers). The packer is suitable for use with Zero-Mix shanks.

Rear rollers

V-RING Packer + Scrapers

V-RING is a heavy steel packer suitable for intense crumbling and reverse soil compaction. Suitable for all types of soil. Packer diameter 25″. The packer is equipped with scrapers that prevent it clogging. The V-RING packer is only available for the TERRALAND TN 13′ HD9 model.

AGRONOMICAL GUIDE

DEEP TILLAGE

Deep tillage has its proven advantages, and it can completely replace standard tillage when carried out at the right time and in the right way. Deep tillage enables root systems to develop, disrupts compacted layers and the plough pan, and creates optimal soil environment for proper functional water and air conditions of soil. BEDNAR implements can carry out deep loosening up to the maximum depth of 25.5″. It is recommended to add profile fertilization in one pass, to provide soil with essential nutrients.
