INTRODUCING THE SECTION
Mulching is an essential operation in agricultural production, as well as in the area of communal sphere and landscaping. Our Company has focused on the production of rotary cutters with a vertical rotary axis from the very beginning.
WHAT IS A ROTARY CUTTER FOR
Mulching should be done for land maintenance to prevent weeds and tree seeds from growing. In crop residue management, mulching is an important tool for cheap and quality field preparation for the next operation after harvesting the catch crop – it shortens and crushes crop residue and enables its faster decomposition. Mulching is also a method of mechanical elimination of pests, such as the European corn borer in a corn stubble field.
MAIN ADVANTAGES OF BEDNAR ROTARY CUTTERS
All BEDNAR rotary cutters have an extremely robust structure with a hot-dipped galvanised finish. That makes the rotary cutters highly resistant to the aggressive plant juices and weather conditions. Easy maintenance is ensured by direct lubrication of all universal joints, gearboxes are protected with a friction clutch, and the armoured bottom part of the cutter increases its resistance to puncturing. TRASH-FAN – the device for continuous machine surface cleaning is mounted centrally on the machine to provide the best possible effect at work, and also compactness during transport.
SEMI-MOUNTED MULCHER MZ
The MULCHER MZ is equipped with three rotors. It comes in two versions – with a working width of 15 or 19 feet. The wide range of the machine in combination with a high working speed guarantees achieving high daily outputs. Perfect terrain tracing is provided by the stepping axle and wing oscillation from −15° to +45°.

WIDE MULCHER MM
The largest rotary cutter in our portfolio, the MULCHER MM, has a working width of 23 feet, and it is equipped with five rotors. It is suitable for aggregation with tractors with a horsepower from 200 to 220. It provides high daily outputs and guarantees excellent quality of work thanks to the large width. The rotary cutter can be equipped with a TRASH-FAN that prevents impurities from getting stuck on the machine surface.
