BEDNAR offers two types of inter-row cultivators. The universal ROW-MASTER RN machine and the sugar beet specialist, ROW-MASTER RN_S. Weeding wide-row crops is becoming more important in terms of limiting the application of chemical plant protection products.
The inter-row cultivator improves the vegetation conditions in wide-row crops. Inter-row cultivation is an effective mechanical pest elimination method; it disrupts the soil crust and creates an insulation layer during drought. Plant roots thus have access to the much needed air, and it is also possible to apply liquid or mineral fertilizers while weeding.
BEDNAR inter-row cultivators have an outstanding robust frame and a parallelogram for the individual cultivation units. The cultivator can easily be adjusted to the type of loosening and plant growth stage by simply switching the individual working sections. The silent-block mounting of the individual working units increases their down pressure on soil. Inter-row cultivators can be equipped with the Culti Cam / Tillett & Hague optical guidance system for easy and precise work.
ROW-MASTER RN is a universal line of inter-row cultivators suitable for weeding stands of corn, sunflower, soya, sugar beet, or other wide-row crops. The working width ranges from 15.7 to 31.5 feet, with an adjustable inter-row distance of cultivation units from 18 to 31 inches.More about ROW-MASTER RN
