The FERTI-CART FC single tank trailed air-cart has a capacity of 100 bu. The FERTI-CART FC is primarily designed for fertilizer placement in combination with tillage implements, such as FENIX FN, TERRALAND TN or TERRASTRIP ZN. It can also be used for seeding in combination with the CORSA CN seed bar. The pressurised design provides quality application, even at high fertilizer amounts.

A TRAILED CART FOR FERTILIZER PLACEMENT

Suitable for working with implements for deep tillage

FERTI-CART FC is a single tank air-cart designed to work with implements for deep tillage for fertilizer placement applied in one pass. The robust three-point hitch enables combination with the TERRALAND TN chisel plough, the TERRASTRIP ZN cultivator, or the versatile FENIX FN cultivator.

LARGE CAPACITY TANK

High performance without the need of frequent refills.

The FERTI-CART FC has one tank with a capacity of 100 bu. The tank is made of polyethylen and it is shaped to also enable application of lower-quality fertilizer.

PRESSURISED TANK

Increases precision and provides applications of high amounts.

Overpressure is created in the tank thanks to the airtight closure. This technical solution increases the quality of fertilizer dosing precision, even in case of higher application amounts of up to 320 lbs of fertilizer per acre.

STAINLESS METERING UNIT

Dose size according to the agronomic needs.

The metering unit is made of stainless steel and driven by an electric motor, as a result of this the dispensed amount is precise at any speed. It is equipped with a GPS speed sensor.

VARIOUS TYPES OF ROLLERS

Seeding rollers.

Our line includes various types of seeding rollers for the application of different fertilizer and seed sizes. We offer seeding rollers from 1.8 cubic in to 48.2 cubic in. You can use the FERTI-CART FC for quick establishment of cereals, canola, legumes, including fertilizer application.

SCALE SYSTEM

Precise information on the quantity of the used fertilizer or seeds with data transfer to the display.

The FERTI-CART FC can be equipped with a scale system. The system is based on three tensometric weight sensors that provide information both on the quantity of fertilizer or seeds in the tank, and on the already applied or seeded amount.

EASY CONTROL

Using BEDNAR ISOBUS systems or terminals.

Setting the batches and tank control is very easy. The FERTI-CART FC trailed cart can be controlled using ISOBUS on the tractor display, or using BEDNAR terminals, starting with the ME TOUCH SMART 570 terminal to ME TOUCH 800 with a touch display and a diagonal measurement of 8″.

ONE TANK, TWO OUTLETS

Maximum precision and savings.

In the basic equipment, the trailed air-cart is equipped with one outlet that does not allow the switching off of half of the working width as with, for example, the CORSA CN seed bar. For maximum precision and economy of seed or fertilizer for connection to implements with half-working width shut-off, the FERTI-CART FC can be equipped with two outlets.

TRACTOR TRACK ERADICATORS

Hydraulically adjustable.

As an option, the FERTI-CART FC 3500 air-cart can be equipped with integrated tractor track eradicators. These eradicators are used for the loosening of compacted tracks created by the tractor. The track eradicator is equipped with double-sided points.

CONVENIENT CALIBRATION

With the FARM LINK mobile app.

BEDNAR developers have designed a mobile phone app that makes it easy and simple to calibrate a trailed hopper right from your phone. The mobile app also includes a guide to help you choose the right seeding roller based on the seed/fertiliser type, working speed and seed rate.

CAMERA SYSTEM

For perfect overview and safety at work.

The FERTI-CART FC can be equipped with a camera system that provides an overview of the connected implement in the three-point hitch of the trailed cart. In relation to the equipment, the camera image is shown on the tractor display or BEDNAR terminal.

LARGE FLOTATION TIRES

Prevent undesirable soil compaction.

The FERTI-CART FC trailed cart is equipped with large flotation tires with a dimension of 550/60-22,5. The flotation tires have a low specific pressure on soil, they prevent potential soil compaction, which most often occurs when the set turns at headland, or works in muddy conditions.

Three-point hitch

Transport axle

The transport axle is equipped with large flotation tires that reduce pressure on soil and provide stability during transport.

Scale system

The scale system provides overview of the quantity of fertilizer in the tank and the applied quantity. The system allows easy data transfer to the tractor display.

Metering unit

Driven by an electric motor, provides a high precision of batching.

Pressurised tank

The single pressurised tank with a total capacity of 100 bu provides precise batching of high amounts of fertilizer.

Additional weights

With weight of up to 3,306 lbs, it adds extra weight to the rear axle of the tractor and improves its towing properties.

Tractor track eradicators

Equipment for the loosening of compacted tracks created by the tractor.

Fan

The fan is used to create an air flow that transports the fertilizer/seed to the distribution tower of the tillage or seeding implements.

OUR INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES

PRESSURISED TANK

The pressure pushes fertilizer through the metering unit. Thanks to this design, the tank can apply even lower-quality fertilizers or higher amounts of fertilizer in a better and more precise way.

REMOTE FARM LINK CALIBRATION

The BEDNAR FARM LINK mobile app allows operators to calibrate the metering unit and enter calibration values directly from the machine without having to enter the tractor cab and use the terminal.

“At the beginning, I was worried about how it would work. But I no longer worry. The setting is very easy. The NPK batching is precise. We even counted it and it matches. To me, it is a joy to drive this cart. Currently, I am working at a depth of 16″ at a speed of 6 mph (9 km/h). The NPK batch is set at 180 lbs per acre. I am able to do 75 acres per day. It depends on the field.”

AGRONOMICAL GUIDE

SOIL PROFILE FERTILIZATION
The application of fertilizer into the soil environment known as profile fertilization should be carried out together with depth loosening using FENIX field cultivators, combined ACTROS disc shank cultivators or TERRALAND chisel ploughs. Such precisely placed fertilizer motivates the root system to grow faster and bigger which helps solve current issues with soil moisture. This fertilizer placement system is most often used for establishing deep-rooting crops such as corn, sugar beet or canola.
