A SINGLE-CHAMBER TRAILED HOPPER FOR FERTILISER AND SEED APPLICATION IN ONE PASS

The FERTI-CART FC single-chamber trailed hopper has a capacity of 100 bu. The FERTI-CART FC trailed hopper is primarily designed for supply fertilisation in aggregation with soil cultivators, such as FENIX FN, TERRALAND TN or TERRASTRIP ZN. It can also be used for seeding in aggregation with the CORSA CN seeding bar. The pressurised design provides quality application, even at high fertiliser amounts.

Suitable for aggregation with machines for deep soil cultivation.

FERTI-CART FC is a single-chamber hopper designed for aggregation with machines for deep soil cultivation for supply fertilisation applied in one pass. The robust three-point hitch enables aggregation with the TERRALAND TN chisel plough, the TERRASTRIP ZN cultivator, or the universal FENIX FN.

LARGE-CAPACITY HOPPER

High performance without the need of frequent refills.

The FERTI-CART FC trailed hopper has one chamber with a capacity of 100 bu. The hopper chamber is made of plastic and it is shaped to also enable application of lower-quality fertiliser.

PRESSURISED HOPPER

Increases precision and provides applications of high amounts.

Overpressure is created in the hopper thanks to the airtight closure. This technical solution increases the quality of fertiliser batching precision, even in case of higher application amounts of up to 772 lb of fertiliser per hectare.

STAINLESS DISPENSING MECHANISM

Batch size according to the agronomic need.

The dispensing mechanism is made of stainless steel and driven by an electric motor, as a result of this the dispensed amount is precise at any speed. It is equipped with a GPS speed sensor.

Seeding rollers.

Our portfolio includes various types of seeding rollers for the application of different fertiliser and seed sizes. We offer seeding rollers from 30 cm³ to 790 cm³.

STRAIN-GAUGE WEIGHING SYSTEM

Precise information on the quantity of the used fertiliser or seeds with data transfer to the display.

The FERTI-CART FC hopper can be equipped with a weighing system. The system is based on three strain-gauge weight sensors that provide information both on the quantity of fertiliser or seeds in the hopper, and on the already applied or seeded amount.

EASY CONTROL

Using BEDNAR ISOBUS systems or terminals.

Setting the batches and hopper control is very easy. The FERTI-BOX FB mounted hopper can be controlled using ISOBUS on the tractor display, or using BEDNAR terminals, starting with the ME TOUCH SMART 570 terminal to ME TOUCH 800 with a touch display and a diagonal measurement of 8″.

CAMERA SYSTEM

For perfect overview and safety at work.

The FERTI-CART FC single-chamber trailed hopper can be equipped with a camera system that provides an overview of the aggregated equipment in the three-point hitch of the trailed hopper. In relation to the equipment, the camera image is shown on the tractor display or BEDNAR terminal.

LARGE FLOATING TYRES

Prevent undesirable soil compaction.

The FERTI-CART FC storage tank is equipped with large floating tyres with a dimension of 550/60-22.5. The floating tyres have a low specific pressure on soil, they prevent potential soil compaction, which most often occurs when the set turns at headland, or works in wet conditions.

Three-point hitch

Transport axle

The transport axle is equipped with large floating tyres that reduce pressure on soil and provide stability during transport.

Weighing system

The strain-gauge weighing system provides overview of the quantity of fertiliser in the hopper and the applied quantity. The system allows easy data transfer to the tractor display.

Dispensing mechanism

Driven by an electric motor, provides a high precision of batching.

Pressurised hopper

The single-chamber pressurised hopper with a total capacity of 100 bu provides precise batching of high amounts of fertiliser.

Ballast weight

With weight of up to 3 307 lb, it adds extra weight to the rear axle of the tractor and improves its towing properties.

OUR INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES

PRESSURISED TANK

The pressure pushes fertiliser through the metering unit. Thanks to this design, the storage tank can apply even lower-quality fertilisers or higher amounts of fertiliser in a better and more precise way.

“At the beginning, I was worried about how it would work. But I no longer worry. The setting is very easy. The NPK batching is precise. We even counted it and it matches. To me, it is a joy to drive this machine. Currently, I am working at a depth of 40 inches, travelling at a speed of 9 km/h. The NPK batch is set at 44 lb per hectare. I am able to do 25-30 hectares per day. It depends on the field.”

AGRONOMICAL GUIDE

PROFILE FERTILISATION
The application of fertiliser into the soil environment known as profile fertilisation should be carried out together with depth loosening using FENIX cultivators, combined ACTROS cultivators or TERRALAND chisel ploughs. Such precisely placed fertiliser motivates the root system to grow faster and bigger which helps solve current issues with soil moisture. This fertiliser placement system is most often used for establishing deep-rooting crops such as corn, sugar beet or oilseed rape.
