The TERRALAND TN_PROFI ripper is an implement for deep tillage up to a depth of 25.5″. When compared with the TERRALAND TN model, the TN_PROFI model includes two ranks of cutting coulters mounted behind the rear spiked rollers. TERRALAND TN_PROFI rippers are available with two working widths – 9′ 10″ and 13′ 1″. TWO TERRALAND TN_PROFI VERSIONS

Maximum tillage depth, two types of protection.

The TERRALAND TN_PROFI ripper tills soil at a depth of up to 25.5″. The shank protection is mechanical using shear bolts, or hydraulic reset shank protection for rocky and heavy soils. The release force of each shank ranges from 2,204 to 3,306 lbs.

Creates ideal soil structure for seeding.

The TERRALAND TN_PROFI ripper includes an extra cutting coulter gang with specially wave-shaped coulters with a diameter of 20″×0.2″. The special shape of the coulters provides efficient crumbling of large clods, covers crop residue, and perfectly levels off the field surface. The interlocking coulter arrangement ensures an excellent self-cleaning effect.

The TERRALAND TN_PROFI ripper in combination with Active-Mix shanks and spiked rollers is suitable for deep loosening. The special shape of the shanks provides easy soil penetration, and excellent loosening and mixing effect. In one pass, the soil profile is loosened in depth and the soil surface is intensely mixed and levelled.

The TERRALAND TN_PROFI frame can be equipped with special Zero-Mix shanks, with a negative angle, and the heavy steel Cutpack for subsoiling without active mixing of soil. This operation is suitable for disrupting hardened soil layers, aerating the soil profile, and creating a proper soil environment.

7 OR 9 SHANKS PER FRAME

The TERRALAND TN_PROFI ripper with a width of 9′ 9″ is equipped with seven shanks with a spacing of 15.7″. The TERRALAND TN_PROFI ripper with a width of 13′ 10″ can be equipped with seven or nine shanks. The spacing with seven shanks is 22.2″, with nine shanks it is 16.7″.

ASSEMBLED PARTS

The advantage for you? A longer service life.

The individual parts of the TERRALAND TN_PROFI rippers are assembled, not welded. The assembled parts (shanks to frames, internal frames to shank beams) have a multiple-times longer service life than when those exposed parts are welded together.

A WIDE RANGE OF POINTS AND WINGS

Modify your machine according to your conditions.

Active-Mix shanks can be equipped with points with a width of 2.8″ for intense loosening, or with a width of 1.6″ for demanding conditions and deep work. The shank wings undercut the disrupted bottom layer to eliminate clod formation. Points and wings are also available in the extremely durable LONG LIFE version (1.6″, 2.2″ and 2.8″). The deeper you work, the narrower the point should be.

SAFE TRANSPORT

Compact dimensions of the ripper, even when equipped with cutting coulter gang.

The TERRALAND TN_PROFI ripper is very compact during transport because the cutting coulters gang hydraulically folds above the main implement frame. An advantage of this design is that the TERRALAND TN_PROFI ripper can also work without using the rear gang, for example, in extremely waterlogged fields.

COMBINATION WITH FERTILIZER TANKS

Precise fertilizer batching thanks to BEDNAR pressurised tanks suitable for supplementary fertilization into soil profile in one pass.

COMBO SYSTEM CS

The FERTI-BOX FB_F front mounted tank is primarily designed for supply fertilization directly in the soil profile and has a capacity of 54 – 62 bu. Fertilizer is pneumatically distributed from the front tank to the distribution tower mounted on the chisel plough.

The FERTI-CART FC is trailed cart which has a capacity of 100 bu. The orifice of the polyethylen tank has a large inclination that allows to apply lower-quality fertilizers. The TERRALAND TN chisel plough bar is easily connected using a three-point hitch.

The COMBO SYSTEM CS two tanks air-cart has a total capacity of 140 bu. The chisel plough is connected in the three-point hitch of the cart. The cart design enables applying two types of fertilizer in one pass, or use both tanks for one fertilizer.

Shanks

The shanks layout ensures excellent loosening effect and mixing of crop residue with soil up to a depth of 25.5″. Two types of shanks are available for deep loosening or subsoiling.

Shank protection

Each shank is individually protected, either hydraulically, or mechanically with the shear bolt.

Side deflectors

Maintain cultivated soil along the working width without the risk of side ridge formation.

Rear spiked packers

Rear tandem rollers with a diameter of 10″ have overlapping spikes that provide excellent self-cleaning effect.

SOIL PROFILE FERTILIZATION AND DEEP LOOSENING IN ONE PASS

The system of soil profile fertilization is one of the most efficient methods to maintain a sufficiently balanced nutrient supply in soil, not only in the arable horizon, but also in deeper layers of the soil profile. This innovative method of fertilizer application connected to deep soil cultivation is not only suitable for replenishing deficit nutrients in soil to reach a balanced level of a good supply, but also to improve accessibility of nutrients to plants, and it also has a positive effect on the growth of the root system.

LONG-LIFE POINTS AND WINGS

The point and the entire abrasion area of the abrasion point are covered with plates made of sintered carbides. The front part of the wings is made of carbide plates that minimise wear and tear in the width and maintain the same shape and functionality the whole time. The LONG LIFE model offers up to ten times longer service time when compared with the standard model, ensures a consistent working depth and quality of work, improves recessing, and provides lower costs and time saved by replacing working parts.

HIGH-STRENGTH STEEL FRAME

The high robustness and durability of the TERRALAND chisel plough frame are provided by the high-strength Alform steel, thanks to which the chisel plough can process soil at a maximum working depth.

CUTTING COULTER GANG

Cutting coulters cut up crop residue, crumble clods, cover crop material with soil, and level the surface after previous operation so that the field is prepared for seeding in one pass.

“We only used to plough. We worked at two shifts, all the time. Now, there is not as much land to plough. We do mostly ripping, it is faster. Before that, we used to plough twice. We did the first tillage, then applied fertilizer, and in winter we did deep tillage. TERRALAND TN_PROFI prepares soil beautifully so that we can use the air drill right away. The ripper operation is very easy and the rear cutting coulters are comfortably controlled with the hydraulics.”

Rollers and packers

TANDEM SPIKED Packer

Rear tandem rollers with a diameter of 10″ have overlapping spikes. The overlapping arrangement of the spikes provides a self-cleaning effect. The implement can work in the most extreme conditions without clogging. The rollers can be moved, for example, in rocky soils. Weight: 1136 lb/ft. The packer is suitable for use with Active-Mix shanks.

CUTPACK Packer + scrapers

CUTPACK is a heavy steel packer with a high cutting capability and an excellent reverse compaction effect. Suitable for heavy soils. Packer diameter 25″. Weight: 1606 lb/ft (including scrapers). The packer is suitable for use with Zero-Mix shanks.

DEEP TILLAGE

Deep tillage has its proven advantages, and it can completely replace standard tillage when carried out at the right time and in the right way. Deep tillage enables root systems to develop, disrupts compacted layers and the plough pan, and creates optimal soil environment for proper functional water and air conditions of soil. BEDNAR implements can carry out deep loosening up to the maximum depth of 25.5″. It is recommended to add profile fertilization in one pass, to provide soil with essential nutrients.
