Small farmers also want to use the advantages of tillage a depth of 14″. The FENIX FN is a compact model of the mounted cultivator for deep tillage as well as shallow tillage right after the harvest. The light, but robust design allows the FENIX FN cultivator to be hitched with tractors starting at 150 horsepowers. The variability of the sweeps offers a wide range of use throughout the year.

The FENIX FN mounted cultivator can carry out deep tillage up to the maximum depth of 14″. Deep tillage is recommended especially before seeding deep-root crops, or in the fall, as it prepares the foundation for the formation of a strong root system, through which the plant will absorb water and nutrients. Deep tillage helps achieve an adequate soil structure with the proper size of the individual soil particles, and it appropriately starts the functional and water regime of soil.

The design and a wide range of points make the FENIX FN mounted cultivator suitable for shallow tillage up to 6″. We recommend fitting the FENIX FN cultivator with points with wings for excellent soil profile processing. A properly performed primary tillage is important for the elimination of the growth of weeds, incorporation of crop residue into soil, it reduces the evaporation of soil moisture, and starts the growth of wanted seeds.

ROBUST CAST IRON SHANK BRACKETS

Mounted to the implement main frame.

Each shank is mounted (not welded) to the main frame of the FENIX FN by means of a solid bracket. The advantage of this solution lies in the high durability of the brackets and the frame. In case of its damage, each bracket can be easily replaced. Each shank firmly preserves its geometry and works within precisely defined limits without oscillations and lift.

Tine securing by means of a shear bolt that breaks in the case of overloading. Basic version suitable for light soils, without stones.

Overloading protection of the shanks by means of a horizontal, two-spring, AUTO-RESET protection. Suitable for sandy to medium soils. Maximum release force of 1,102 lbs, maximum lifting height of 13.8 inches.

The FENIX FN mounted cultivator is a suitable implement for deep tillage as well as shallow tillage after harvest. The FENIX FN cultivator can be equipped with a whole range of working tools in relation to the soil character or customer’s requirements. The three ranks of shanks are followed with a levelling section, which can be fitted either with spring levellers or discs. It is also possible to mount a tine harrow for final surface finish after the rollers.

CONVENIENT HYDRAULIC CONTROL

Comfortably from the tractor cabin.

The basic FENIX FN equipment includes hydraulic working depth setting. The working depth is set by placing the required number of integrated spacers on the hydraulic cylinders.

FOUR TYPES OF POINTS AND THREE TYPES OF WINGS

Allow adjusting the implement to deep tillage or shallow tillage.

The FENIX FN field cultivator can be equipped with four types of points and three types of wings, which let you adjust the implement for deep tillage or shallow tillage after harvest. A properly selected points and wings type is also important in terms of the character of the soil to be processed, or the season.

TWO LEVELLING SECTION OPTIONS

Levelling springs or discs.

Two types of rear levelling sections are available for the FENIX FN cultivator. Levelling springs or discs are available. The levelling springs are maintenance-free. The levelling disc bearings with rubber torsion elements protection are also maintenance-free. The levelling section is automatically adjustable in relation to the working depth. The levelling section height can be additionally set mechanically.

A WIDE RANGE OF REAR PACKERS

To adjust the FENIX FN cultivator to specific soil conditions.

FENIX FN can be equipped with various rear packers, available in a diameter from 18.5/1.2 to 24.8 inches. The rear packer does not only maintain the set working depth, but it provides quality clod crumbling and closes the soil profile.

LONG-LIFE POINTS

The reinforced LONG-LIFE points with an extended service life are fitted with carbide tips. The durability of such points is multiple times longer, namely in abrasive soils. The time spent replacing points can be thus used more efficiently.

V-RING is a heavy steel packer suitable for intense crumbling and reverse soil consolidation. The packer is suitable for all types of soil. Packer diameter 21”.

U-RING Packer

This packer consists of a cage and slatted packer with different diameters. The packer is suitable for cultivating medium and light types of soil in drier conditions. Packer diameter 18.5″ and 15″. Weight: 955 lb/ft.

CAGE Packer

The cage packer is made of massive steel rods with a good crumbling effect, particularly when reaching higher working speed. Packer diameter 25″. A suitable design for light soils. Weight: 875 lb/ft.

DEEP TILLAGE
FENIX field cultivators are suitable tools for deep tillage up to 13.8″. The optimally designed layout of the individual shanks provides excellent soil profile undercutting and mixing of crop residue with soil. Deep loosening provides soil with the proper structure, with the properties of a fungus that is able to absorb precipitation and provide water to roots in the dry season.
