Double front gauge wheels
Provide excellent terrain contouring and maintain the set working depth across the entire machine width.
Intense soil cultivation with excellent mixing of crop residue is an important precondition for proper soil structure. The FENIX FO deep cultivator has three rows of tines providing intense soil mixing up to a depth of 13.8 inches. The high frame clearance in combination with NON-STOP protection of each tine allows working in demanding conditions as well. To achieve optimal properties of the towing vehicles, The FENIX FO is equipped with a traction booster of the tractor rear axle.

A deep cultivator for deep soil cultivation of up to 13.8 inches, including shallow stubble ploughing after harvest.
The FENIX FO cultivator can carry out deep loosening up to the maximum depth of 13.8 inches. Deep loosening is recommended especially before seeding deep-root crops, or in the autumn, as it prepares the foundation for the formation of a strong root system, through which the plant will absorb water and nutrients. Deep loosening helps achieve an adequate soil structure with the proper size of the individual soil particles, and it appropriately starts the functional and water regime of soil.
The design and a wide range of chisels make the FENIX FO cultivator suitable for shallow stubble ploughing up to 5.9 inches. We recommend fitting the FENIX FO cultivator with chisels with wings for excellent soil profile processing during stubble breaking. A properly performed stubble ploughing is important for the elimination of the growth of weeds, incorporation of crop residue into soil, it reduces the evaporation of soil moisture, and starts the growth of unwanted seeds.
The FENIX FO deep cultivator has working tines arranged in three rows, with a spacing of 12.2 inches between the individual tines. This arrangement brings an excellent loosening and mixing effect because the soil is undercut along the entire machine width with subsequent crop residue mixing.
The FENIX FO deep cultivator is a suitable machine for deep soil cultivation as well as shallow stubble ploughing after harvest. The FENIX FO cultivator can be equipped with a whole range of working parts in relation to the soil character or customer’s requirements. The three rows of tines are followed with a backfilling section, which can be fitted either with backfilling rods or discs. For perfect soil levelling, the FENIX FO cultivator can be equipped with the Crushbar leveller in front of the rear rollers.
The FENIX FO deep cultivator can be equipped with four types of chisels, which let you adjust the machine for deep loosening or shallow stubble ploughing after harvest. A properly selected working chisel type is also important in terms of the character of the soil to be processed, or the season. There are chisels with a width of 80 and 60 mm, or LONG-LIFE chisels at 40 and 80 mm, fitted with carbide tips for higher durability.
When processing soil in extreme conditions, or when working in heavy soils, the towing vehicle may frequently slip, which increases fuel consumption and reduces performance. The FENIX FO deep cultivator can be equipped with an interesting solution of the tractor traction booster. This technical design considerably helps achieve excellent towing properties.
The FENIX FO deep cultivator can be equipped with ballast weight of 200 kilograms on request. It is recommended to equip the FENIX FO cultivator with ballast weight namely when the rear double rollers are used, as the ballast weight improves the even machine weight distribution and adds extra weight to the drawbar.
The FENIX FO deep cultivator can be equipped with the BEDNAR ALFA DRILL seeding unit while in production, for seeding catch crop and small-seed plants during stubble breaking, all in one pass. The time and fuel savings are considerable. The seeding unit has a capacity of 11 bu.
The FENIX FO cultivator can be equipped with support wheels for perfect terrain tracing. They ensure that the field is evenly cultivated at the set working depth along the entire width of the machine.
Each chisel is followed with one ring (in the case of the double roller) which compacts the surface soil along the same trajectory as the chisel works. This provides better reserve compaction of the cultivated soil profile and improves the emergence of unwanted seeds.
