FENIX FN_L can carry out deep loosening up to the maximum depth of 35 cm. Deep loosening is recommended especially before seeding deep-root crops, or in the autumn, as it prepares the foundation for the formation of a strong root system, through which the plant will absorb water and nutrients. Deep loosening helps achieve an adequate soil structure with the proper size of the individual soil particles, and it appropriately starts the functional and water regime of soil.

The design and a wide range of cultivating chisels make the FENIX FN_L mounted cultivator suitable for shallow stubble ploughing up to 5–15 centimetres. We recommend fitting the FENIX FN_L cultivator with chisels with wings for excellent soil profile processing during shallow stubble ploughing. Properly performed stubble ploughing is important for the elimination of the growth of weeds, incorporation of crop residue into soil, it reduces the evaporation of soil moisture, and promotes the growth of unwanted seeds.

ROBUST CAST-IRON PROTECTION

NON-STOP horizontal spring protection.

The new generation of FENIX FN_L cultivators is equipped with robust horizontal NON-STOP protection known from the FENIX FO_PROFI models. The horizontal protection protects tines from overload with maintenance-free, double-spring NON-STOP protection. The springs are pre-loaded at the maximum release force of 480 kg. The protection starts to work at the moment of a collision with an obstruction, such as rock, with the maximum lifting height of 22 cm. Until then, the tine holds its geometry firmly and operates within a precisely defined space without vibrations or movements.

NEW MAIN FRAME DESIGN

A welded frame with high durability.

The frame of the new FENIX FN_L model is completely welded, not assembled. FENIX FN_L thus offers maximum robustness and high durability even when processing the soil to a maximum depth of 35 centimetres. The high frame clearance of 80 cm in combination with the tine spacing of 93 cm in the row guarantees trouble-free soil cultivation even in fields with large quantities of crop residue.

CONVENIENT HYDRAULIC CONTROL

Comfortably from the tractor cabin.

The basic FENIX FN_L equipment includes hydraulic working depth setting. The working depth is set by placing the required number of integrated hydraulic clips on the hydraulic cylinders.

VARIOUS TYPES CHISELS AND WINGS

Adjust the machine to deep loosening or shallow stubble ploughing.

The universal FENIX FN_L cultivator can be equipped with four types of chisels and three types of wings, which let you adjust the machine for deep loosening or shallow stubble ploughing after harvest. The machine can be equipped with standard 60 and 80 mm chisels or 40 and 80 mm LONG LIFE chisels. The chisels can be fitted with 125 and 185 mm wings or the 185 mm LONG LIFE wings. The LONG LIFE chisels provide constant working depth, excellent loosening effect and required quality of work.

TWO LEVELLING SECTION OPTIONS

Levelling rods or discs.

Two types of rear levelling sections are available for the FENIX FN_L cultivator. Levelling rods or discs are available. The levelling rods are maintenance-free. The levelling disc bearings with rubber-segment protection are also maintenance-free. The levelling section is automatically adjustable in relation to the working depth. The levelling section height can be additionally set mechanically.

FENIX FN_L can be equipped with various rear packers, available in a diameter from 470/30 to 630 mm. The rear packer does not only maintain the set working depth, but it provides quality clod crumbling and closes the soil profile.

Three-point hitch

Easy connection to the three-point hitch of the tractor. Hitch category III

Chisel working section

Ensures excellent undercutting and mixing of crop residue with soil. There are four types of chisels available to accommodate to the conditions.

Working depth regulation

FENIX FN_L offers hydraulic depth regulation from the tractor cabin. The required depth is set using integrated hydraulic clips on the hydraulic cylinder.

Backfilling section

It helps level the soil surface and crumbles larger clods before the final soil profile consolidation. The levelling section is automatically adjustable in relation to the working depth.

Rear packers

Create an ideal fine soil structure and close the soil surface to prevent evaporation.

OUR INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES

LONG-LIFE CHISELS

The reinforced LONG-LIFE chisels with an extended service life are fitted with carbide tips. The durability of such chisels is multiple times longer, namely in abrasive soils. The time spent replacing chisels can be thus used more efficiently.

ROBUST AUTO-RESET PROTECTION

The horizontal protection protects tines from overload with maintenance-free, double-spring AUTO-RESET protection. The maximum release force is 480 kg, the maximum tine lifting height when colliding with an obstacle is 22 cm.

Levelling springs

Used for levelling surface before the rear packer. Suitable equipment for machines used in lighter soils.

Backfilling discs

Levelling rotary discs that perfectly level the surface, adjustable according to the soil conditions. Suitable equipment for machines used in heavier soils.

Rollers and packers

V-RING Packer + scrapers

V-RING is a heavy steel packer suitable for intense crumbling and reverse soil consolidation. The packer is suitable for all types of soil. Packer diameter 530 mm.

U-RING Packer

A steel packer suitable for all types of soil with quality crumbling and low adhesion. The individual rings are U-shaped. Diameter 19.7 inches, weight 82 lb/ft.

DOUBLE-ROLLER

A double rolling basket consisting of a tube and bar roller of different diameters. The roller is suitable for cultivation of medium and light soils in drier conditions. Diameter 18.5 and 14.6 inches, weight 89 lb/ft.

TUBE Roller

The rolling basket is made of massive steel tubes and provides a good crumbling effect, particularly at higher speeds. Most suitable for lighter soils. Diameter 21 inches, weight 81 lb/ft.

SPRING Packer

The Spring packer is a single-row, light, steel packer made of rings. A suitable packer for lighter soils. Packer diameter 21 inches.

DEEP SOIL CULTIVATION
FENIX depth cultivators are suitable tools for deep soil cultivation of up to 35 centimetres. The optimally designed layout of the individual tines provides excellent soil profile undercutting and mixing of crop residue with soil. Deep loosening provides soil with the proper structure, with the properties of a fungus that is able to absorb precipitation and provide water to roots in the dry season.
