The STRIP-MASTER EN cultivator is designed for strip-till soil cultivation. This technology is especially suitable for establishing wide-row crops. The STRIP-MASTER EN cultivator processes soil in strips of 31.5 inches, 29.5 inches, 27.6 inches, 19.7 inches and 17.7 inches at a depth of up to 13.8 inches. The machine has a universal frame that allows setting the required spacing for the preparation of strips for a specific crop.

The advantages of strip-till soil cultivation include a faster warming of the processed soil strips, their aeration, reduced erosion, better water absorption when compared with direct seeding, or targeted application of mineral or organic fertiliser into strips.

STRIP-TILL SOIL CULTIVATION

The inter-row space usually contains some crop residue that covers the uncultivated strips in the field. It reduces the evaporation of soil moisture. The crop residue in the inter-row space also provide a barrier against the spread of weeds.

Strip-till soil cultivation is mostly used to reduce erosion at fields that are at risk. Soil erosion is the most frequent problem when growing wide-row crops. Soil protection is achieved by leaving crop residue in the unprocessed inter-row space.

CULTIVATION UNIT PARALLELOGRAM

The STRIP-MASTER EN has a robust frame where the individual working units are mounted. Each cultivation unit is mounted to the frame with a clip. The cultivation unit includes a parallelogram that ensures perfect terrain tracing and maintaining the set working depth.

A HYDRAULICALLY SUSPENDED

Cultivation knife.

The individual cultivation knives of the STRIP-MASTER EN cultivator are hydraulically suspended to provide higher durability and easy operation. The tension force is set to 1 653 lb and the cultivation knife can deflect by 10.2 inches in the case of contact with an obstruction.

OPTIMAL MACHINE DESIGN

A wide range of equipment = modification of the machine to the conditions.

The working unit of the STRIP-MASTER EN cultivator consists of a cutting disc, a cleaning disc, a cultivation knife, a guide disc and a compacting roller. The individual working parts can be easily adjusted to the specific farming conditions and customer’s requirements.

INTER-ROW SPACING SETTING

Easy strip preparation adjustment for various crops.

The STRIP-MASTER EN cultivator is suitable for the preparation of strips for wide-row crops, such as corn, soya, sunflower or oilseed rape. The individual cultivation units are easily adjustable on the frame to an inter-row spacing of 17.7-31.5 inches, so the machine can be modified according to the crop.

HIGH CLEARANCE

Even in conditions with large quantities of crop residue.

The strip-till cultivator can be used for strip preparation without any prior soil cultivation, for example, directly in the catch crop or in fields with larger quantities of crop residue. When the STRIP-MASTER EN cultivator is equipped with 12 working units, the individual units are offset to ensure high quality of work without clogging.

SLURRY APPLICATOR

The FERTI-BOX FB_F front mounted hopper is designed for supply fertilisation directly in the soil profile and has a capacity of 54 – 62 bu. Fertiliser is pneumatically distributed from the front hopper to the distribution head mounted on the cultivator.

The FERTI-CART FC trailed storage tank has a capacity of 100 bu. The large inclination of the hopper also allows to apply lower-quality fertilisers. The STRIP-MASTER EN cultivator is easily aggregated using a three-point hitch.

The COMBO SYSTEM CS trailed double-chamber storage tank has a capacity of 142 bu per each hopper. The strip-till cultivator is aggregated in the three-point hitch of the vehicle. The double-chamber hopper design enables applying two different types of fertiliser in one pass.

The STRIP-MASTER EN cultivator can also be aggregated with a self-propelled or trailed applicator for organic fertilisers – slurry or digestate.

STRIP-TILL SOIL CULTIVATION
The importance of soil-protecting cultivation rests in the positive effect on the soil structure condition, in the reduction of the risk of soil and air erosion, in the management of organic matter, in the reduction of soil moisture loss, or in increasing the activities of soil micro-organisms that contribute to the balanced content of some elements, namely nitrogen (N) and carbon (C) in soil. From an economic aspect soil-protecting technologies cultivate soil with a lower demand on the pulling capacity of the tractor and related fuel consumption savings.
