STRIP-TILL CULTIVATOR FOR TILLAGE UP TO A DEPTH OF 14"

The STRIP-MASTER EN cultivator is designed for strip tillage. This technology is especially suitable for establishing row crops. The STRIP-MASTER EN cultivator processes soil in strips of 32″, 29.5″, 27.5″, 19.7″ and 17.7″ at a depth of up to 14″. The implement has a versatile frame that allows setting the required spacing for the preparation of strips for a specific crop.

The advantages of strip tillage include a faster warming and a better aeration of the processed soil strips, a reduced erosion, a better water absorption when compared with no-till drilling, or a targeted placement of mineral or organic fertilizers into strips.

STRIP-TILLAGE

Reduces soil moisture evaporation.

The mid row space usually contains some crop residue that covers the uncultivated strips in the field. It reduces the evaporation of soil moisture. The crop residue in the mid row space also provide a barrier against the spread of weeds.

PROTECT YOUR LAND

From the negative effects of soil erosion.

Strip tillage is mostly used to reduce erosion at fields that are at risk. Soil erosion is the most frequent problem when growing row crops. Soil protection is achieved by leaving crop residue in the unprocessed mid row space.

PARALLEL LINKAGE FOR EACH ROW UNIT

The STRIP-MASTER EN has a robust frame where the individual row units are mounted. Each row unit is mounted to the frame with a clip. The row unit includes a parallel linkage that ensures perfect terrain contouring and maintaining the set working depth.

HYDRAULIC RESET SYSTEM OF SHANKS

Shank

The shanks of the STRIP-MASTER EN cultivator are hydraulically protected to provide higher durability and easy operation. The release force is set to 1,653 lbs and the shanks can deflect by 10.2″ in the case of contact with an obstacle.

OPTIMAL CULTIVATOR DESIGN

A wide range of equipment = modification of the implement to the conditions.

The row unit of the STRIP-MASTER EN cultivator consists of a cutting blade, a cleaning disc, a shank, a guide disc and a rear basket. The individual working tools can be easily adjusted to the specific farming conditions and customer’s requirements.

ROW SPACING SETTING

Easy strip preparation adjustment for various crops.

The STRIP-MASTER EN cultivator is suitable for the preparation of strips for row crops, such as corn, soya beans, sunflower or canola. The individual row units are easily adjustable on the frame to an row spacing of 17.7″- 32″, so the implement can be modified according to the crop.

HIGH CLEARANCE

Even in conditions with large quantities of crop residue.

The strip-till cultivator can be used for strip preparation without any prior tillage, for example, directly in the cover crop or in fields with larger quantities of trash. When the STRIP-MASTER EN cultivator is equipped with 12 row units, the individual units are offset to ensure high quality of work without clogging.

SLURRY APPLICATOR

The FERTI-BOX FB_F front mounted tank is designed for fertilizer placement directly in the soil profile and has a capacity of 54 -62 bu. Fertilizer is pneumatically distributed from the front tank to the distribution tower mounted on the cultivator.

The FERTI-CART FC has a capacity of 100 bu. The large inclination of the tank also allows to place lower-quality fertilizers. The STRIP-MASTER EN cultivator is easily connected using the three-point hitch.

The COMBO SYSTEM CS is two tanks air-cart which has a total capacity of 140 bu. The strip-till cultivator is connected in the three-point hitch of the COMBO SYSTEM CS. The two tanks air-cart design enables place two different types of fertilizer in one pass.

The STRIP-MASTER EN cultivator can also be connected with a self-propelled or trailed applicator for organic fertilizers – slurry or digestate.

STRIP-TILLAGE
The importance of soil-protecting cultivation rests in the positive effect on the soil structure condition, in the reduction of the risk of soil and air erosion, in the management of organic matter, in the reduction of soil moisture loss, or in increasing the activities of soil micro-organisms that contribute to the balanced content of some elements, namely nitrogen (N) and carbon (C) in soil. From an economic aspect soil-protecting technologies cultivate soil with a lower demand on the pulling capacity of the tractor and related fuel consumption savings.
