INTRODUCING THE SECTION
Strip tillage is one of the ways to achieve higher yield while keeping the soil-protective measures. In this area, we offer two different designs of strip-till cultivators. The deep TERRASTRIP ZN cultivator, or the STRIP-MASTER EN cultivator for shallow strip tillage.
WHAT TO USE A STRIP-TILL CULTIVATOR FOR
The strip-till cultivator is used for preparing strips before seeding row crops, such as sunflower, corn, sugar beet, or canola.
Strip tillage has a positive effect on soil structure, it reduces the risk of soil and air erosion, helps manage organic soil matter, reduces evaporation of soil moisture, or increases the activity of soil micro-organisms.
MAIN ADVANTAGES OF BEDNAR STRIP-TILL CULTIVATORS
The positive effect of strip tillage can be promoted by targeted application of mineral or liquid fertilizers into the soil profile while loosening soil.
The TERRASTRIP ZN and STRIP-MASTER EN can be easily hitched with the FERTI-CART FC and COMBO SYSTEM CS air-carts, the FERTI-BOX mounted tanks, or directly with slurry applicators.
VERSATILE STRIP-MASTER EN CULTIVATOR
The versatile STRIP-MASTER EN cultivator is designed for strip tillage up to a depth of 14″. The row distance of the working units can be set at 17.7″/19.7″/27.5″/29.5″ and 32″.
The strip-till cultivator can be thus easily used for strip tillage of all row crops. The implement excels in perfect row cultivation and elimination of crop residue from the rows for subsequent seeding.

TERRASTRIP ZN DEEP STRIP-TILL CULTIVATOR
The TERRASTRIP ZN deep strip-till cultivator is designed on the basis of the well-established TERRALAND TN chisel ploughs. The extremely robust frame allows for strip-till soil tillage up to a maximum depth of 22″.
The TERRASTRIP ZN cultivator is manufactured with a working width from 12′ to 18′, with row spacing of 17.7″/19.7″/20″ for sugar beet, or 27.55″ and 29.5″ in for corn and sunflower strip tillage.
