INTRODUCING THE SECTION
Strip-till soil cultivation is one of the ways to achieve higher yield while keeping the soil-protective measures. In this area, we offer two different designs of strip-till cultivators. The deep TERRASTRIP ZN cultivator, or the STRIP-MASTER EN cultivator for shallow soil cultivation.
WHAT TO USE A STRIP-TILL CULTIVATOR FOR
The strip-till cultivator is used for preparing strips before seeding wide-row crops, such as sunflower, corn, sugar beet, or oilseed rape.
Strip-till cultivation has a positive effect on soil structure, it reduces the risk of soil and air erosion, helps manage organic soil matter, reduces evaporation of soil moisture, or increases the activity of soil micro-organisms.
MAIN ADVANTAGES OF BEDNAR STRIP-TILL CULTIVATORS
The positive effect of strip-till soil cultivation can be promoted by targeted application of mineral or liquid fertilizers into the soil profile while loosening soil.
The TERRASTRIP ZN and STRIP-MASTER EN can be easily aggregated with the FERTI-CART FC and COMBO SYSTEM CS storage tanks, or the FERTI-BOX hopper, or directly with slurry applicators.
UNIVERSAL STRIP-MASTER EN CULTIVATOR
The universal STRIP-MASTER EN cultivator is designed for strip-till soil cultivation up to a depth of 35 centimetres. The inter-row distance of the cultivating units can be set at 18/20/28/29.5 and 31 inches.
The strip-till cultivator can be thus easily used for strip cultivation of all wide-row crops. The machine excels in perfect row cultivation and elimination of crop residue from the rows for subsequent seeding.

TERRASTRIP ZN DEEP CULTIVATOR
The TERRASTRIP ZN deep cultivator is designed on the basis of the well-established TERRALAND TN chisel ploughs. The extremely robust frame allows for strip-till soil cultivation and loosening up to a maximum depth of 22 inches.
The TERRASTRIP ZN cultivator offers 5.6 metres working width, with a large inter-row spacing of 70 or 75 cm, suitable for corn and sunflower strip-loosening.
