SWIFTERDISC XN

5' 9"-16' 5" ft
60-200 hp
0.5"-5.5" in
BEDNAR high-speed discs handle post-harvest tillage, residue incorporation, and seedbed preparation. With working widths from 5 ft 9 in to 60 ft 4 in, the range includes versatile SWIFTERDISC models, the large-disc ATLAS AE_L, and heavy-duty ATLAS models. Choose a machine based on your acreage, soil conditions, and the amount of residue you need to manage.
A high-speed disc works the soil soon after harvest, when timely tillage can help conserve moisture and encourage volunteer crops and weeds to emerge before the next field operation. Its disc blades cut and mix crop residue into the upper soil layer, leaving a more even surface for subsequent work.
On compatible models, a BEDNAR ALFA seeder can establish cover crops while the disc works the soil in the same pass. Selected machines can also be fitted with a front CRUSHBAR leveling bar for seedbed preparation.

The range covers mounted and trailed machines for different farm sizes and field conditions. Depending on the model, available features include maintenance-free disc bearings, TWIN-DISC mounting for residue flow, X-PRECISE disc gang layout for accurate tracking, and integrated axles and packer arrangements that support stability in the field. Selected wide models fold to a transport width of about 9 ft 10 in.

SWIFTERDISC models are suited to shallow post-harvest tillage and seedbed preparation, with working depths of up to 5.5 inches. Depending on the model, a front CRUSHBAR leveling bar can help prepare the seedbed, while a TRASH CUTTER roller cuts tough stalks and other heavy residue ahead of the disc gangs.
The disc gangs can be equipped with 20- or 22-inch blades. In the TWIN-DISC system, two blades share one arm, leaving more space for crop residue to pass through the machine.

The ATLAS AE_L is designed for fields with substantial residue, including after grain corn, sunflower, or canola. Its 24-inch blades work to a depth of up to 6.5 inches.
Two blades are mounted on each arm, providing space for residue to move through the machine. The X-PRECISE disc gang layout balances side forces to help the machine track behind the tractor. Rubber torsion elements protect the disc arms.

Heavy-duty ATLAS models are built to cut and incorporate large amounts of crop residue and organic matter. Their 24-inch blades, frame clearance, and spacing between disc gangs help maintain material flow in demanding conditions. Depending on the model, they work to a depth of up to 6.5 inches.
Unlike the ATLAS AE_L, these models mount each blade on a separate arm with spring reset protection. This design supports consistent disc engagement when working in heavy or dry soil. Explore the ATLAS AO_PROFI and other models to find the working width and configuration that fit your operation.
