SWIFTERDISC XO_F is a versatile product line of high speed disc, available with a working width from 13′ 1″ to 24′ 7″. This high speed disc was the first on the market with an integrated axle, mounted in front of the rear packers. The design provides even weight distribution, and thus a high tool stability and the related high working speed, essential for the proper work of a high speed disc.

Tillage after harvest
Seedbed preparation

Tillage just after harvest is one of the most important field operations. According to the proper agricultural procedures, it should be done as soon after harvest as possible. For this operation, SWIFTERDISC XO_F can be equipped with notched or aggressive blades with a diameter of 20″×0.2″/22″×0.2″, providing excellent cutting, mixing with soil and incorporation of trash. The rear packers consolidates soil and close the soil profile to ensure even emergence of weeds and unwanted cereal seeds.

The two-rank layout of rear packers provides better stability at high speed than one rank design, and also eliminates the gap in speed disc with two rollers in one rank. The integrated axle ensures even distribution of the tool weight and eliminates its bouncing. Moreover, it ensures safer transport and reduces the turning radius of the tractor with the speed disc at headland.

The working depth of the speed disc is easily set on the rear rollers. If the implement is equipped with gauge wheels, they are set automatically using the mechanical connecting rods.

TRASH CUTTER

A cutting roller for tough trash

The SWIFTERDISC XO_F high speed disc can be equipped with the Trash Cutter roller in the front, an ideal choice for cutting crop residue and hard stalks. Such cut crop residue decomposes better in soil and facilitates subsequent tillage, preventing implement clogging.

CRUSHBAR LEVELLING BAR

Use the high speed disc for seedbed preparation as well.

To increase the all-year-round utilisation, SWIFTERDISC XO_F can be equipped with the hydraulically controlled Crushbar levelling bar in the front. This combination provides perfect top soil profile levelling, clod crumbling, and seedbed preparation.

ALFA DRILL SEEDER

Establishing cover crop in one pass.

The SWIFTERDISC XO_F high speed disc can be equipped with the BEDNAR ALFA DRILL seeder while in production, for seeding cover crop and small-seed plants during tillage, all in one pass. The time and fuel savings are considerable. The seeder unit has a capacity of 11 bu.

The SWIFTERDISC XO_F high speed disc is equipped with a hydraulic drawbar. We use this technical design as it facilitates the connection to the tractor, and above all, improves the quality of work because the speed disc perfectly contours any terrain unevenness.

SAFE TRANSPORT

Excellent stability and high travelling speeds

The integrated axle mounted near the tractor provides excellent driving abilities. The working sections are folded upwards; frames are comfortably secured using hydraulic locks. A smooth and safe transportation with a transport width of 9′ 10″ and working speed up to 12.4 mph (20 km/h).

OUR INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES

HYDRAULIC DRAWBAR

The hydraulic cylinder of the tongue allows excellent terrain contouring. It eliminates tension affecting the tongue and absorbs shocks, even at high working speeds.

TWO-ROW REAR PACKER LAYOUT

The two-rank layout of rear packers provides better stability at high speed than a one rank design, and also eliminates the gap in implement with two rollers in one row. The tool must work in a steady and stable manner to achieve a levelled field without waves.

MAINTENANCE-FREE BEARINGS

Our oblique contact ball bearings are closed by two static and one dynamic cassette seal with four sealing ribs and run in a solid metal body. The hubs are attached to the blade with six bolts. They are oversized to ensure a trouble-free operation.

RUBBER TORSION PROTECTION

Two disc blades per arm design provides twice the space for rubber torsion protection. The rubber elements absorb shocks coming from the blades working the ground. The speed disc works fast and without maintenance even in the most difficult conditions. The elements are made from high quality rubber with a long service life.

TWIN-DISC MOUNTING SYSTEM

One arm for two blades allows for excellent trash flow. Crop residue such as huge amounts of straw or cornstalks can easily pass through the implement. Most high-speed discs have only one disc blade on each arm. Such design restricts the flow of the material namely in wet conditions or in heavy residue.

The hydraulically controlled Crushbar levelling bar is especially suitable for initial surface levelling and for breaking the rough furrow in front of the disc gang. The individual levelling paddles are reinforced. It is easily controlled using the hydraulic circuit from the comfort of the cabin.

Cutter roller with helically arranged blades. The small diameter enables achieving a high circumferential speed. The roller provides an excellent cutting of cornstalks, canola and sunflower stems or cover crops. As a result, the crop residue is incorporated better and the improved soil contact stimulates its breakdown. The roller downpressure is controlled hydraulically from the cab.

Aggressive disc blades

The specially shaped disc blades offer a higher cutting and mixing effect. They also penetrate soil better in the dry season. The aggressive blades have a lot of cutting edges along the circumference for easy incorporation of a large quantity of crop residue. The sharp blades efficiently cut crop residue. Moreover, the profiled shape allows bringing out more soil. Available with a diameter of 20″ × 0.2″ and 22″ × 0.2″.

The disc gang is usually equipped with notched disc blades with a diameter of 20″ x 0.2″; the diameter of 22″ x 0.2″ is available on request.

It is used for seeding cover crops, grasses, or for all-area fertilizer application. You can do two operations in one pass and reduce your costs.

The steel ring packer is made of massive steel rings for perfect compaction, suitable for all types of soil. The individual rings perfectly crumble clods. Packer diameter 21″. Weight: 1461 lb/ft (including scrapers).

CUTPACK Packer + scrapers

CUTPACK is a heavy steel packer with a high cutting capability and an excellent reverse compaction effect. Suitable for heavy soils. Packer diameter 25″. Weight: 1606 lb/ft (including scrapers). The packer is suitable for use with Zero-Mix shanks.

DOUBLE-ROLLER Packer

This packer consists of a cage and slatted packer with different diameters. The packer is suitable for cultivating medium and light types of soil in drier conditions. Packer diameter 18.5″ and 15″. Weight: 955 lb/ft.

V-RING Packer + scrapers

V-RING is a heavy steel packer suitable for intense crumbling and reverse soil compaction. The packer is suitable for all types of soil. Packer diameter 25″. Weight: 1222 lb/ft (including scrapers).

Double V-RING Packer

V-RING is a packer with individual rings shaped in a V. The packer has an outstandingly low stickiness, which prevents the packer from clogging when wet. The ranks are offset, which provides an excellent self-cleaning effect. The double packer increases machine stability at work. Packer diameter 25″. Weight: 1172 lb/ft.

Double U-RING Packer (23.5")

The U-RING packer is a dual rank steel packer. The ranks are offset, which provides an excellent self-cleaning effect. The packer is great for crumbling, and the U-shape rings and the low risk of clogging make it suitable for work in muddy conditions. The dual packer increases implement stability at work. Packer diameter 23.5″. Weight: 1664 lb/ft.

CAGE Packer

The cage packer is made of massive steel rods with a good crumbling effect, particularly when reaching higher working speed. Packer diameter 25″. A suitable design for light soils. Weight: 875 lb/ft.

PRIMARY TILLAGE
Quality and fast primary tillage is one of the most important operations in tillage. According to good agrotechnical practices, it should be carried out as soon as possible after the harvest.
