The ACTROS RO combination cultivator (disc blades and shanks) provides two operations in one pass. The two front ranks of blades with a large diameter of 27″x0.24″ provide excellent cutting and shallow mixing of trash with soil, and the two ranks of shanks ensure intense loosening up to a depth of 14″. The whole process is completed with the final levelling and surface consolidation using a packer. A great advantage of the ACTROS RO combination cultivator is the possibility to work without rear packers. This solution makes it possible to use the cultivator also under less favourable conditions, namely when it is muddy.

The efficient combination of a blade and shank gangs provides two operations in one pass. The high implement underframe clearance, and the spacing of the individual blades and shanks are modified for incorporation of large quantities of organic matter in the form of cover crop, crop residue, or manure.
The ACTROS RO combination cultivator is especially designed for processing large quantities of crop residue, for example, after grain corn. The ACTROS RO cultivator is equipped with two ranks of large notched blades with a diameter of 27″ x 0.24″ which provide excellent cutting and incorporation of crop residue up to a depth of 14″. The spacing of the individual blades in the rank is 16.7″, ensuring trouble-free work with high throughput.
For the intense loosening effect, the ACTROS RO combination cultivator is equipped with two ranks of Active-Mix shanks. The Active-Mix shanks allow tillage up to a depth of 14″. In one pass, the soil profile is loosened in depth and the soil is intensely mixed.
Rear packers might get clogged when cultivating heavy soil in the late season or working in extreme conditions. The integrated axle and the placement of the second rank of shanks behind the axle makes it possible to use ACTROS RO in muddy conditions as well, as the rear packers can be easily disconnected or lifted. The integrated axle also facilitates turning at headland, continuous approach into the next take and transport.
The ACTROS RO levelling section following the second rank of shanks can be equipped with two types of working tools. The available equipment includes levelling discs with hydraulic control. There are also simple levelling springs with mechanical control; hydraulic control is available on request. This section levels the ridges behind the shank gang and levels the surface before it is compacted by the rear packers.
The FERTI-BOX FB_F front mounted tank is primarily designed for supply fertilization directly in the soil profile and has a capacity of 54 – 62 bu. Fertilizer is pneumatically distributed from the front tank to the distribution tower mounted on the combined cultivator.
The FERTI-CART FC is trailed cart which has a capacity of 100 bu. The orifice of the polyethylen tank has a large inclination that allows to apply lower-quality fertilizers.
The COMBO SYSTEM CS is cart with two tanks which have a total capacity of 140 bu. The cart design enables applying two types of fertilizer in one pass, or use both tanks for one fertilizer.

The individual shanks using a simple maintenance-free AUTO-RESET spring protection with a tension force of 1212 lb. This design offers a long service life, easy shank lifting in the case of contact with an obstruction, and above all, maintaining the set working depth of up to 14″.
The hydraulic cylinder of the drawbar provides excellent terrain contouring. It removes tension affecting the implement drawbar and absorbs shocks, even at high working speed.
The reinforced LONG-LIFE points with an extended service life are fitted with carbide tips. The durability of such points is multiple times longer, namely in abrasive soils. The time spent replacing points can be thus used more efficiently.
The system of soil profile fertilization is one of the most efficient methods to maintain a sufficiently balanced nutrient supply in soil, not only in the arable horizon, but also in deeper layers of the soil profile. This innovative method of fertilizer application connected to deep soil cultivation is not only suitable for replenishing deficit nutrients in soil to reach a balanced level of a good supply, but also to improve accessibility of nutrients to plants, and it also has a positive effect on the growth of the root system.

Deep tillage enables root systems to develop, disrupts compacted layers and the plough pan, and creates optimal soil environment for proper functional water and air conditions of soil.
