The ACTROS RO combined cultivator provides two operations in one pass. The two front rows of discs with a large diameter of 690 × 6 mm provide excellent cutting and shallow mixing of crop residue with soil, and the two rows of tines ensure intense loosening up to a depth of 35 centimetres. The whole process is completed with the final levelling and surface consolidation using a packer. A great advantage of the ACTROS RO combined cultivator is the possibility to work without rear packers. This solution makes it possible to use the deep cultivator also under less favourable conditions, namely when it is wet.

A combined cultivator for cutting crop residue and intense loosening up to a depth of 35 centimetres in one pass.
The efficient combination of a disc and chisel section provides two operations in one pass. The high machine clearance, and the spacing of the individual discs and chisels are modified for incorporation of large quantities of organic matter in the form of catch crop, crop residue, or manure.
The ACTROS RO combined cultivator is especially designed for processing large quantities of crop residue, for example, after grain maize. The ACTROS RO cultivator is equipped with two rows of large notched discs with a diameter of 690 × 6 mm which provide excellent cutting and incorporation of crop residue up to a depth of 18 centimetres. The spacing of the individual discs in the row is 42.5 cm, ensuring trouble-free work with high throughput.
For the intense loosening effect, the ACTROS RO combined cultivator is equipped with two rows of Active-Mix tines. The Active-Mix tines allow soil cultivation up to a depth of 35 centimetres. In one pass, the soil profile is loosened in depth and the soil is intensely mixed.
Rear packers might get clogged when cultivating heavy soil in the late season or working in extreme conditions. The integrated axle and the placement of the second row of tines behind the axle makes it possible to use ACTROS RO in wet conditions as well, as the rear packers can be easily disconnected or lifted. The integrated axle also facilitates turning at headland, continuous approach into the next take and transport.
The ACTROS RO levelling section following the second row of tines can be equipped with two types of working parts. The available equipment includes levelling discs with hydraulic control. There are also simple levelling springs with mechanical control; hydraulic control is available on request. This section levels the ridges behind the tine section and levels the surface before it is compacted by the rear packers.
The FERTI-BOX FB_F front mounted hopper is primarily designed for supply fertilisation directly in the soil profile and has a capacity of 1,900-2,200 litres. Fertiliser is pneumatically distributed from the front hopper to the distribution head mounted on the combined cultivator.
The FERTI-CART FC is trailed cart which has a capacity of 3,500 litres. The orifice of the plastic hopper has a large inclination that allows to apply lower-quality fertilisers.
The COMBO SYSTEM CS is cart with two tanks which have a total capacity of 5,000 litres. The cart design enables applying two types of fertiliser in one pass, or use both tanks for one fertiliser.

The individual tines are spring-loaded using a simple maintenance-free vertical AUTO-RESET spring protection with a tension force of 550 kg. This design offers a long service life, easy tine lifting in the case of contact with an obstruction, and above all, maintaining the set working depth of up to 35 centimetres.
The hydraulic cylinder of the drawbar provides excellent terrain contouring. It removes tension affecting the machine drawbar and absorbs shocks, even at high working speed.
The reinforced LONG-LIFE chisels with an extended service life are fitted with carbide tips. The durability of such chisels is multiple times longer, namely in abrasive soils. The time spent replacing chisels can be thus used more efficiently.
The system of profile fertilisation is one of the most efficient methods to maintain a sufficiently balanced nutrient supply in soil, not only in the arable horizon, but also in deeper layers of the soil profile. This innovative method of fertiliser application connected to deep soil cultivation is not only suitable for replenishing deficit nutrients in soil to reach a balanced level of a good supply, but also to improve accessibility of nutrients to plants, and it also has a positive effect on the growth of the root system.

V-RING is a packer with individual rings shaped in a V. The packer has an outstandingly low stickiness, which prevents the packer from clogging when wet. The U-RING packer is a double-row steel packer. The rows are offset, which provides an excellent self-cleaning effect. DEEP SOIL CULTIVATION
Deep soil cultivation has its proven advantages, and it can completely replace standard tillage when carried out at the right time and in the right way. Deep cultivation enables root systems to develop, disrupts compacted layers and the plough basin, and creates optimal soil environment for proper functional water and air conditions of soil. BEDNAR machines can carry out deep loosening up to the maximum depth of 65 centimetres. It is recommended to add profile fertilisation in one pass, to provide soil with essential nutrients.
