The first EFECTA CE 12000 has been working at Kombinat Rolny Kietrz since 2021

The EFECTA CE 12000 wide-working width seed drill was put on sale by the BEDNAR brand in the autumn of 2020. The first user of this seed drill was Kombinat Rolny Kietrz, the largest agricultural company in Poland, which manages around 8,500 hectares of agricultural land.

Based on the intensive test, the first EFECTA CE from series production was sold to a major Polish company on the Czech borders

Kombinat Rolny Kietrz is a state agricultural company. It is one of the largest growers of sugar beet, which it grows on 1,500 hectares. In addition to this important crop, winter wheat, winter oilseed rape, corn and other crops can be found. In addition to crop production, animal production also plays a very important role. The company keeps 9,000 head of cattle, of which 3,700 are dairy cows. Every year, the company produces 39,000,000 litres of milk.

In the autumn of 2020, the company began to consider replacing and acquiring a new wide-width seed drill. Based on intensive testing of all competing seed drills and the testing of the EFECTA CE 12000 seed drill itself, the company decided to purchase a BEDNAR seed drill.

We asked Mr. Rafał Kleniewski, precision agriculture specialist, and Bogusław Grzywna, chief agronomist of the company, why the company chose a seed drill from the BEDNAR brand and what is their experience with it? „The EFECTA CE seed drill impressed us above all with its robust construction compared to other seed drills. We expect long life and great durability.. Another reason why we chose this seed drill was the soil preparation section, we chose the version with PROFI coulters. We practice precision agriculture in this company, so one of the criteria for us was the section control function, which saves costs for seeds. From the summer establishment to the the autumn sowing of winter crops, we have planted approximately 4,000 hectares with a seeder, the daily output depends on the conditions. We sowed 127 hectares in a 12-hour shift.”

In the company Kombinat Rolny Kietrz, they chose the EFECTA CE seed drill in the following specification – seed coulters with a inter-row spacing of 12.5 cm, fertilization to the seed, front PROFI coulter section for soil preparation, tractor track cultivators and adjustable cultivator for transport axle, pre-emergence markers.
