2. AN EFFECTIVE COMBINATION OF WORKING PARTS
When preparing soil for seeding, it is very important not to move soil very much, to maintain as much moisture as possible. Everytime you drive over the soil it causes more drying. The SWIFTER cultivators combine up to seven operations in a single pass during which the machine crumbles clods and aerates the soil profile, creates a precise base with an ideal top structure of soil particles, and levels the surface.

The SWIFTER seedbed cultivators offer three options of working sections with classic shares, gamma points or with the specially designed SB section for spring soil cultivation.

4. HYDRAULIC DRAWBAR
The SWIFTER SO_F semi-mounted cultivators are equipped with a hydraulic drawbar (also available for SWIFTER SO_PROFI on request). BEDNAR uses this structural design in most of its machines as it contributes to terrain tracing, reduces shocks and enables easy connection of the cultivator with the tractor.

5. PERFECT TERRAIN TRACING
Terrain tracing is an important property for even soil cultivation at the same depth. The wide SWIFTER SE cultivators (8.2-12.2 metres) and SWIFTER SM cultivators (14.2–18.2 metres) use the “Wave-flex” system. The individual sections are suspended independently of one another on the side frames using towing arms in the front and tracing arms in the back, which ensures that the machine stays in the set working depth.

6. COIL SPRING FRAME SUSPENSION
The semi-mounted SWIFTER SO_PROFI cultivators consist of a support frame and two side frames. The suspension of the side frames is designed using coil springs, thanks to which the support frame is not exposed to high shocks and it is possible to work with the machine at higher speeds.

7. MAINTENANCE-FREE REAR ROLLER BEARINGS
The rear rollers by most manufacturers are very prone to damage and require regular maintenance that takes a lot of time. BEDNAR uses a maintenance-free rear roller bearing system in the SWIFTER cultivators. Multiple gaskets prevent contamination of the bearing and the reinforced gasket design reduces its damage.

8. PERFECT REVERSE COMPACTION AND CLOD CRUSHING
All the model series have a whole range of various rear rollers, levelling bars or tine harrow for perfect reverse compaction and final clod crushing. However, the SWIFTER SO_PROFI version also offers the finish crosskill roller (it can be equipped with a total of three crosskill rollers) for the finishing work, reverse compaction of the top layer and quality preparation of the seedbed

9. SLATTED ROLLER WITH A REPLACEABLE PIN
The SWIFTER cultivators offer one more technical gadget: a front crumbling roller with a replaceable pin. In the case of wear and tear or damage, all you need to do is to replace the pin, without the need to replace the entire roller.

AN INTERESTING FACT FROM ITALY

One customer in Italy equipped his SWIFTER SO_F machine with a distribution head and uses the seedbed cultivator for seedbed preparation together with fertilizer application in a single pass. The fertilizer is pneumatically distributed from the FERTI‑BOX FB into the distribution head installed on the SWIFTER. Then, it travels to the application end pieces in front of the working shares that incorporate the fertilizer into the top soil horizon.
