The EFECTA CM seed drill is designed for farms that require maximum daily output during seeding. The EFECTA CM seed drill consists of a seeding bar with a working width of 12 metres and an air-cart with a capacity of 12,000 litres. EFECTA CM is a seed drill suitable for seeding into partially cultivated soil, for minimium tillage technology or systems with minimal soil cultivation. The large capacity tanks minimises down time and the verified double parallelogram design ensures quality crop establishment.

The double-chamber version of the pressurised hopper enables mixing seeds and fertiliser, to put them together in the same row. The fertiliser dosing and the selected seeding amount are completely independent of one another and are mixed in the dispensing pipeline.
The EFECTA CM wide air-seeder can also be used for establishing several types of crop. One chamber can be filled with seeds A, the other with seeds B. This design makes it possible to sow two crops at the same time and thus brings new agronomic possibilities in response to the current farming requirements. The seeding amount of the crops can be set individually.
To use the performance potential of the EFECTA CM air-seeder, both chambers can be used for one type of seeds. You can thus minimise the time needed for refilling the hopper and increase the efficiency of the EFECTA CM wide air-seeder.
The cart of the EFECTA CM air-seeder has two tanks and offers a maximum capacity of 12,000 litres. Both chambers are divided in the ratio of 50:50. The tank is pressurised. This is a design that BEDNAR uses for all types of seed drills. Overpressure is created in the tank thanks to the airtight closure. This technical design allows for dosing large seeding amounts with high precision independent of the seed/fertiliser granule size.
Each tank of EFECTA CM has two metering units. Batching provides maximum precision and allows for higher batches of seeds or fertiliser thanks to the higher number of metering units. There is also the Section Control function – automatic activation of sections after every three metres of the working width.
TURBO coulters are flat discs with sharp cutting edges with a diameter of 460 mm. TURBO coulters create a clean groove for seed placement. TURBO coulters are suitable for seeding in partially cultivated soil. TURBO coulters work in the same line as drill coulters that place the seeds.
PROFI coulters are specially shaped corrugated discs with a diameter of 460 mm, designed for fine seedbed cultivation before seeds are placed in the soil. PROFI coulters open up soil without turning it, keeping moisture essential for seed germination in the soil. It is suitable for heavier soils.
The drill coulter sections are attached to the seeding bar frame with a parallelogram. Each drill coulter utilises its own parallelogram within the well-established PSP system. The combination of the systems guarantees unparalleled terrain contouring and keeps the set seeding depth along the entire working width.
The double-disc seed coulter with an offset disc cuts crop residue and creates a clean and prepared groove for even seed placement. There is either a standard, shear or carbide scraper between two discs. The seeds are then covered with fine soil and pressed down into the soil by the depth wheel. The depth wheel is available in two sizes: 330 × 50 mm and 330 × 65 mm.
Besides the standard top filling of both chambers of the tank, the EFECTA CM seed drill can be filled using a screw conveyor. The screw conveyor is a part of the optional equipment for the machine. A suitable solution for filling the seed drill is through the rear dispensing window of the semi-trailer. A wide and easily accessible service platform is available for standard filling.
The EFECTA CM seed drill is equipped with the unique BAR-LOCK system by BEDNAR. BAR-LOCK is used for stabilisation of side frames.
The EFECTA CM seed drill can be equipped with two track eradicators. The tractor track eradicators include hydraulically controlled PROFI coulters. Coulter track eradicators do no create clods thanks to their shape. The track eradicators of the AIR-CART consist of tines with chisels. The working depth of the track eradicators of the transport axle is set mechanically.
Easy control is a priority for the operators. EFECTA CM is equipped with new BEDNAR EASY CONTROL software that guarantees easy and well-arranged control. The seed drill can be connected to the tractor via the ISOBUS technology, or it can be controlled using a BEDNAR ISOBUS display. A series of control displays with basic or advanced control functions are available.
The EFECTA CM seed drill can be easily operated in countries that regulate the maximum transport height (4 m) and width (3 m). The seeding bar is folded backwards behind the air-cart for transport. The transport length of the EFECTA CM seed drill is 15,5 m.

The tractor track eradicators include PROFI coulter that are used for loosening and levelling any terrain unevenness after the tractor wheels.
The track eradicators of the cart axle consist of tines with chisels. The eradicators loosen any hardened soil again.
TURBO coulters are sharp discs that work in the same line as the drill coulters. It is important seed drill equipment for seeding into soil not cultivated very well.
Provide even seed/fertiliser distribution to the individual drill coulters. The seed drill is equipped with the Section Control function that offers automatic activation/deactivation every 3 m of the working width.
The individual sections of the seeding bar are suspended on a parallelogram on the side frames for perfect contouring. The inter-row distance of the drill coulters is 16.7 cm.
