A highly versatile and adaptable seed drill.

OMEGA OO_FL GEN II seed drills are based on a robust central frame, which allows for a wide range of configuration options. The machine can be configured as a seed drill designed for well-prepared soil (e.g. without a disc section) or as a fully equipped version with an ALFA DRILL seeder, a working section with coulters or front CRUSHBAR levelling boards in combination with an individual rubber tyre packer, FRONTPACK.

High traction even in wet conditions and low rolling resistance.

OMEGA OO_FL GEN II seed drills are equipped with wide wheels on the central individual rubber tyre packer with a large diameter. The individual tyres are not arranged in a single line, which increases the machine’s ground clearance even in wet conditions, significantly reduces rolling resistance and thus also the need for traction. In the event of a puncture or damage, each wheel can be easily replaced.

For transport, the central pair of tyres is hydraulically raised to eliminate unwanted loading on the central part of the roller, for example when driving over uneven field tracks or country roads.

Polyethylene tanks, low in weight and high dosing accuracy.

BEDNAR uses polyethylene tanks on all its seed drills, which reduces the machine’s overall weight. The hoppers are designed as overpressure hoppers – thanks to the airtight seal, a stable overpressure is created inside. This solution significantly increases the accuracy of seed and fertiliser dosing, even at higher rates and regardless of the size or pattern of the seed/fertiliser granules.

Precisely designed seeding coulter.

The double disc coulter, with one disc positioned forward, effectively cuts through crop residues and creates a clean, evenly opened furrow for precise seed placement. A carbide scraper is positioned between the discs to prevent blockages. Seeding coulters are available with row spacing of 12.5 or 16.7 cm.

The seed is then covered with a fine layer of soil and pressed down by a depth wheel. The depth wheel is available in two versions:

•  330 × 50 mm – for medium and heavy soils
• 330 × 65 mm – for lighter soils.

A time-tested system for even seed placement.

BEDNAR uses a proven system of parallel linkage seeding coulters on all its seed drills, which is part of the machine’s standard equipment. The parallel linkage ensures smooth adaptation to uneven terrain and maintains a constant seed placement depth across the entire working width. The result is uniform crop emergence and an optimal start to vegetation growth.

X-PRECISE system for reducing drift.

The new generation of OMEGA OO_FL GEN II seed drills is equipped with mirror-image seeding coulters (this also applies to FERTI coulters). Each half of the machine has a disc of the opposite side positioned in front – the left side has a right-hand disc and the right side has a left-hand disc. This design increases the machine’s stability and significantly reduces lateral drift, leading to greater sowing accuracy, particularly on sloping or uneven terrain.

Even greater versatility and new agronomic possibilities.

The OMEGA OO_FL GEN II seed drills can be fitted with the BEDNAR ALFA DRILL seeder, which expands the range of applications and offers new possibilities for crop establishment – such as the application of microgranules or the sowing of additional seed types. The material from the seeder can be applied using splasher plates either onto the soil surface between the seeding coulters or behind the disc section. The hopper capacity is 400 litres.

More stable guidance of the sowing bar without the need for additional adjustment.

OMEGA OO_FL GEN II seed drills are equipped with a new system for mounting the seeding coulter sections to the machine frames. Compared to the previous generation, the mounting is carried out at multiple points. The result is more precise coulter bar guidance, a stable working position and better ground contour following by both the sowing discs and the pressure wheels. This contributes to higher seedling establishment quality, even when working in challenging conditions.

Simple calibration and the option of easy hopper emptying.

Seed calibration is carried out at the rear of the seed drill (behind the seeding coulters), where the seed distribution system is located. This location is very convenient and easily accessible for the operator. Unused seed can also be easily emptied back into the BIG BAG at the rear.

The FARM LINK mobile app is also available, allowing calibration to be performed directly from a mobile phone. The app includes a smart guide that recommends a suitable seeding metering roller based on the type of seed or fertiliser, working speed and required seed rate.

No need for spacers.

OMEGA OO_FL GEN II seed drills come with a modern system for hydraulic adjustment of coulter pressure, which no longer requires the use of spacers on the hydraulic cylinders. Pressure adjustment is carried out smoothly directly from the tractor cab via the terminal, allowing for an immediate response to changes in soil conditions during operation.
