Cutting rollers are a highly efficient tool for the mechanical disposal of plant residues and catch crops. Their low energy consumption and high performance are a valuable benefit for farmers who, for example, work in regenerative farming systems or grow catch crops.

What cutting rollers are for

Cutting rollers are designed for mechanical disposal, crushing and cutting of crop residues and catch crops. The machine can also be used for the mechanical disposal of pests such as the corn borer. The cutting rollers significantly eliminate the risk of clogging the machines with plant residues or long stems during subsequent tillage and sowing. In the case of heavy cutting rollers, the machine can also be used for shallow tillage for the incorporation and stimulation of the seed admixture.

The SPEED CHOP SC_F and DURACUT TE cutting rollers feature a robust frame design that allows the machines to operate at high working speeds for excellent cutting. The cutting roller blades are made of high-strength steel and are interchangeable. Interchangeable blades save you money. In the case of wear or damage, only the affected blade can be easily replaced, eliminating the need to replace the entire roller.

SPEED CHOP SC_F mounted cutting rollers

The SPEED CHOP SC_F is a model series of mounted cutting rollers. These models are available with working widths of 3, 4 and 6 m. The cutting roller can be used alone (in front or rear three-point hitch) or, for example, in combination with a DIRECTO NO seed drill or a SWIFTERDISC XN, XO_F disc cultivator.

DURACUT TE trailed cutting roller

The DURACUT TE trailed cutting roller is characterised by its high weight per metre of working width. During operation, the entire weight of the frame and water in the rollers rests on the blades. This solution maximises the crumbling effect of the rollers, including topsoil cultivation. This working operation effectively starts the seed admixture growth process, for example after rapeseed harvest.
