The ALFA DRILL seder is designed for seeding small-seed crops, catch crops, and for micro-granulates application. It can be mounted on various types of BEDNAR soil cultivation and seeding machines (compact disc harrows, seedbed cultivators, seed drills, etc.). The efficient, hydraulically driven fan ensures trouble-free distribution, even on wide machines. The seedert has a hopper capacity of 400 or 800 litres.

The seeder combined with a seed drill offers the option of seeding another type of crop. For example, when combined with the OMEGA OO_FL seed drill, it is possible to establish up to three types of seeds. It can also be used for micro-granulates application.

In combination with STRIEGEL-PRO, the ALFA DRILL seeder can be used for establishing catch crops after harvest, or for micro-granulates application.

The combination of the seeder with a compact disc harrow offers a high versatility. In one pass, you can do good-quality stubble cultivation and establish catch crops or a greening in the shallow-cultivated soil.

An easy and quick connection of the ALFA DRILL with the tractor ISOBUS socket. The seeder equipped with the ISOBUS system can be easily connected to any tractor also equipped with the ISOBUS technology.

The ALFA DRILL seeder without the ISOBUS control system is fed using the electric socket in the tractor cabin. It is an easy solution for tractors not equipped with ISOBUS, when the customer wants to use the ALFA DRILL seeder and control it comfortably.

COMFORTABLE FILLING

Located in an easily accessible place.

The ALFA DRILL seeder is located in an easily accessible place for safe and easy filling, often in the front or rear of the machine. The seeder can be installed on the machine with an access platform and steps, to improve the comfort of filling.

TWO HOPPER SIZES

400 or 800 litres.

The ALFA DRILL seeder is available in two versions, with tank capacities of 400 or 800 litres. The equipment options depend on the machine where the seeder is installed. The hopper is equipped with level sensors for early registration of low levels of the applied seeds or fertiliser.

A WIDE RANGE OF SEED METERING ROLLERS

For various properties and seeding/fertiliser amounts.

The seed metering unit can be equipped with various seed metering rollers, identical with the OMEGA seed metering rollers, or another roller type, in accordance to the properties of the seed and the seeding amount.

PRESSURISED HOPPER

Considerably increases the accuracy of batching.

BEDNAR ALFA DRILL is pressurised seeders. It is an important property for precise seeding amounts, or for applying larger quantities of fertiliser.

AGRONOMICAL GUIDE

CATCH CROP ESTABLISHMENT
Catch crop is grown to improve soil conditions; it aerates soil and creates organic matter that continuously subsides. Each type of catch crop (tare grass, phacelia, buckwheat, scarlet clover, Indian millet, mustard) has a different task because the roots of each catch crop reach a different depth. The roots transfer phosphorus and other elements from lower soil layers to the top. After incorporation, the elements are available for the next crop. In summer, the catch crop creates a shadow, eliminates the evaporation of moisture from soil, and reduces the risk of erosion.
