Protective discs
The specially shaped protective discs of the row units define the cultivation width – they protect leaves and roots. The discs also prevent covering crop rows with soil and weed seeds.

The ROW-MASTER RN cultivator has a robust frame with excellent versatility in weeding, removing soil crust, and eliminating weeds in row crops. The adjustable row spacing from 45 to 80 centimetres makes it possible to use ROW-MASTER in the crops of maize, sunflower or sugar beet. To reduce the risk of damaging plants and to achieve a high output, the cultivator can be equipped with the self-guiding CultiCam system.

A row-crop cultivator that eliminates the occurrence of weeds in row crops with an adjustable row spacing of 45-80 centimetres.
The machine has a frame with high clearance of 80 centimetres that provides excellent throughputs even in tall stands. This design offers an easy weeding of row crops, such as maize and sunflower, but the adjustable row spacing allows to weed a wide range of crops, like sugar beet or rapeseed. The row spacing can be easily adjusted by moving the row unit along the frame.

The different types of row units make it possible to adjust the cultivator to the current growth stage of the crop so that loosening is performed as best as possible and without the risk of crop damage. Plant protection is ensured by the protective discs or protective shields.

The section with five arrow shares is usually used for early spring loosening of young crop with 100% overlapping of the row space. This operation removes the soil crust and weeds in rows.
For the second weeding, the cultivator can be equipped with three 150 mm shares and two narrow points with a width of 40 mm. The points do not damage the plant air roots and moreover, they create a groove in the soil profile that improves access of roots to water and air.
The final loosening can be done using the 60 mm heaping chisel with a mouldboard. The large chisel loosens soil and removes soil crust, even very hard.
The individual row units are mounted to the frame via parallel linkage. The parallelogram contours the terrain and maintains the set working depth of the units. The parallel linkage completely eliminates movements caused by unevenness.

Each row unit is mounted via parallel linkage which is placed on silent-blocks. The downforce of the row units is provided by the unique method of mounting in two pairs of silent-blocks. The downforce of up to 80 kg per unit ensures that the set depth is maintained even in extremely hard and difficult conditions.

The row-crop cultivator can be equipped with a set of LED work lighting that ensures trouble-free visibility around the machine during long work shifts, to guarantee maximum daily output, even when working at night.

The spacing between the individual row units can be easily changed by loosening the bolts that connect the main machine frame with the row units. The working depth of each unit is set easily using a manual screw mechanism (a crank). The working depth can be set from 2 to 12 cm.

The ROW-MASTER RN cultivator is equipped with stabilising steel wheels of the side frames that keep the cultivator within the rows. Each row unit has its own support wheel that helps maintain the set working depth and contours the terrain.

CultiCam, a guiding camera, reads the row lines, transfers the information to the system that sends data to the control unit, which transmits signals to the electric valves that move the frames to the left, or right. The camera can guides the row units from the very early stage of crop emergence and it considerably increases productivity and comfort of work.

The FERTI-BOX FB_F front mounted hopper is designed for supplementary fertilisation in the soil profile and has a capacity of 1,900-2,200 litres. Fertiliser is pneumatically distributed from the front hopper to the distribution head mounted on the row-crop cultivator.

“We bought the ROW-MASTER RN 6400 row-crop cultivator by BEDNAR based on a selective procedure where the requirements for the machines equipment also included a system of automatic cultivator guidance. We implement row crop cultivation year by year as needed and according to the current conditions. Also, loosening provides for easy access of sugar beet roots to air.”
