The COMBO SYSTEM CS trailed hopper is designed for connection with mounted soil cultivators and seed bars. The double-chamber hopper offers a total capacity of 5,000 litres in the ratio of 60:40. The pressurised hopper increases the accuracy of dosing and enables to also place large amounts of fertiliser or seeds.

The COMBO SYSTEM CS trailed hopper can be used all year round. The three-point hitch makes it possible to connect the hopper with various machines – it can be used for seeding cereals and rapeseed in combination with the CORSA CN or GIRONA GN seed bars.
The hopper can be connected with various machines thanks to a three-point hitch or a towing eye – it can be used in combination with the TERRALAND TN subsoiler, or TERRASTRIP ZN strip-till subsoiler and STRIP-MASTER EN strip-till cultivator.
A great advantage of the COMBO SYSTEM CS hopper is the two chambers design. In one pass, you can place fertiliser and seed at the same time, or you can use both chambers for seeds or fertiliser according to the field operation. The individual types of seeds/fertilisers can be mixed in the pipes. The large hopper capacity allows working without the need for frequent refills.
The individual chambers of COMBO SYSTEM CS are equipped with their own metering unit. The stainless steel metering units with electric drives enable changing the application amounts independently for both chambers, as required by the agronomist.
Our portfolio includes various types of metering rollers for the application of different fertiliser and seed sizes. We offer metering rollers from 30 cm³ to 790 cm³.
The hopper of the COMBO SYSTEM CS is pressurised. Thanks to the air-tight closure, overpressure is created in the hopper. This technical solution enables the application of large doses with high accuracy, regardless of the size of the seed/fertiliser granules.
The COMBO SYSTEM CS trailed hopper enables connection to the tractor via ISOBUS technology or control via BEDNAR’s own ISOBUS monitor. A range of control monitors is available with basic or advanced control functions. COMBO SYSTEM CS is supplied with BEDNAR EASY CONTROL software developed by BEDNAR engineers.
The COMBO-SYSTEM CS double-chamber hopper can be equipped with a camera system that provides an overview of the connected equipment. A camera can also be placed inside the chambers. In relation to the equipment, the camera image is shown on the tractor display or BEDNAR terminal.
The COMBO SYSTEM CS trailed hopper is equipped with large flotation tyres with a dimension of 650/65-30.5. The flotation tyres have a low specific pressure on soil, they prevent potential soil compaction, which most often occurs when the set turns at headland, or works in wet conditions.
BEDNAR developers have designed a mobile phone app that makes it easy and simple to calibrate a trailed hopper right from your phone. The mobile app also includes a guide to help you choose the right metering cassette based on the seed/fertiliser type, working speed and seed rate.

The pressure pushes fertiliser through the metering unit. Thanks to this design, the storage tank can apply even lower-quality fertilisers or higher amounts of fertiliser in a better and very accurate way.
The BEDNAR FARM LINK mobile app allows operators to calibrate the metering mechanism and enter calibration values directly from the machine without having to enter the tractor cab and use the terminal.

PROFILE FERTILISATION
The placement of fertiliser into the soil environment known as profile fertilisation should be carried out together with deep loosening using FENIX cultivators, combination ACTROS cultivators or TERRALAND subsoilers. Such precisely placed fertiliser motivates the root system to grow faster and bigger which helps solve current issues with soil moisture. This fertiliser placement system is most often used for establishing deep-rooting crops such as maize, sugar beet or rape.
