TERRALAND TO semi-mounted chisel ploughs are designed for deep soil cultivation in connection with the most powerful tractors on the market. TERRALAND TO chisel ploughs have an exceptionally durable and robust frame. That makes them suitable for processing soil up to a depth of 55 centimetres, even with a working width of 6,4 metres. The integrated transport axle installed between the working sections enables the TERRALAND TO chisel plough to also work without the rear rollers.

HYDRAULIC AUTO-RESET LEG PROTECTION

Intense soil cultivation up to a depth of 55 centimetres.

The semi-mounted chisel plough is made in working widths from 4 to 6,4 metres. The extremely robust frame made of brackets with a diameter of 150 × 150 mm in combination with the hydraulic auto-reset leg protection enables intense deep soil cultivation up to a depth of 55 centimetres. The hydraulic AUTO-RESET protection provides a release force for each tine in the range of 1,000-1,500 kg.

Deep loosening
Subsoil tillage

The TERRALAND TO chisel plough in combination with Active-Mix legs and spiked rollers is suitable for deep loosening. The special shape of the legs provides easy soil penetration, and excellent loosening and mixing effect. In one pass, the soil profile is loosened in depth and the soil surface is intensely mixed and levelled.

The TERRALAND TO frame can be equipped with special Zero-Mix legs with a negative angle for subsoil tillage without active mixing of soil. This operation is suitable for removing hardened soil layers, aerating the soil profile, and creating a proper soil environment.

DEEP LOOSENING AND SOIL CRUMBLING

Two operations in one pass save time and money.

The TERRALAND TO chisel plough consists of two rows of legs, followed by tandem spiked rollers. Active legs provide deep soil loosening, tandem spiked rollers overlap and offer an excellent crumbling effect. The advantage of the rollers is that they can be adjusted according to the required work, for example, in rocky soils.

INTEGRATED AXLE

Soil cultivation without rear rollers in adverse conditions.

The TERRALAND TO semi-mounted chisel plough has an integrated transport axle between two rows of legs. This structural design lets you work with the TERRALAND TO semi-mounted chisel plough in extremely adverse conditions because the rollers can be easily put out of operation. It prevents undesirable clogging of rollers, allowing you to continue working. Moreover, the axle reduces the turning radius at headland and allows for an easy approach to the next take.

A WIDE RANGE OF POINTS AND WINGS

Modify your machine according to your conditions.

ACTIVE-MIX legs can be equipped with points with a width of 70 mm for intense loosening, or with a width of 40 mm for demanding conditions and deep work. The tine wings undercut the disrupted bottom layer to eliminate clod formation. Points and wings are also available in the extremely durable LONG LIFE version (40 mm, 55 mm and 70 mm). The deeper you work, the narrower the point should be.

PREPARED FOR CTF SYSTEM THANKS TO THE WORKING WIDTH OF 6.4 METRES

Reduced numbers of passes and soil compaction.

The CTF (controlled traffic farming) system eliminates soil compaction and optimises the passes of the individual sets. When working, the individual sets travel across the field in the given grid of the working width (6, 12, 18, 24 m, etc.), which prevents the formation of uneven compaction in the field as well as in the tracks that can be easily tilled.

COMBO SYSTEM CS

The FERTI-BOX FB mounted hopper is primarily designed for supply fertilisation directly in the soil profile and has a capacity of 3,000 litres. Fertiliser is pneumatically distributed from the hopper to the distribution head mounted on the combined cultivator.

The FERTI-CART FC is trailed cart which has a capacity of 3,500 litres. The orifice of the plastic hopper has a large inclination that allows to apply lower-quality fertilisers.

The COMBO SYSTEM CS double-chamber air-cart has a total capacity of 5,000 litres. The cart design enables applying two types of fertilizer in one pass, or use both tanks for one fertilizer.

Soil moisture loss can occur during deep soil cultivation in summer. Therefore, we have developed the ‘ZERO-MIX’, a special leg with a negative angle for the TERRALAND TO machine. The share removes compacted soil layers, aerates the soil profile and creates a proper soil environment. The heavy steel Cutpack covers the soil surface.

OUR INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES

LONG-LIFE POINTS AND WINGS

The point and the entire abrasion area of the abrasion point are covered with plates made of sintered carbides. The front part of the wings is made of carbide plates that minimise wear and tear in the width and maintain the same shape and functionality the whole time. The LONG LIFE model offers up to ten times longer service time when compared with the standard model, ensures a consistent working depth and quality of work, improves recessing, and provides lower costs and time saved by replacing working parts.

PROFILE FERTILISATION AND DEEP LOOSENING IN ONE PASS

The system of profile fertilisation is one of the most efficient methods to maintain a sufficiently balanced nutrient supply in soil, not only in the arable horizon, but also in deeper layers of the soil profile. This innovative method of fertiliser application connected to deep soil cultivation is not only suitable for replenishing deficit nutrients in soil to reach a balanced level of a good supply, but also to improve accessibility of nutrients to plants, and it also has a positive effect on the growth of the root system.

The hydraulic cylinder of the drawbar provides excellent terrain contouring. It removes tension affecting the machine drawbar and absorbs shocks, even at high working speed

AUTOMATIC LUBRICATION OF THE TRANSPORT AXLE

For higher operator’s comfort, the TERRALAND TO chisel plough can be equipped with a system of automatic lubrication of the transport axle.

The negative angle provides subsoil tillage without active mixing at a depth of up to 55 centimetres. The negative angle does not mix soil, disturbs the hardened layers intensely and aerates the soil profile.

ACTIVE-MIX legs

Designed for intense deep loosening up to 55 centimetres. The ACTIVE-MIX legs disrupt, intensely loosen soil and mix it with crop residue.

Rollers and packers

CUTPACK Packer + scrapers

CUTPACK is a heavy steel packer with a high cutting capability and an excellent reverse consolidation effect. Suitable for heavy soils. Packer diameter 630 mm. Weight: 222 kg/m (including scrapers). The packer is suitable for use with ZERO-MIX legs.

HYDRAULICALLY-ADJUSTABLE TANDEM DOUBLE ROLLER

Rear tandem packers with a diameter of 400 and 245 mm have overlapping spikes. The overlapping arrangement of the rollers provides a self-cleaning effect. The adjustable double roller is used for effective cultivation of soil with a high quantity of crop residue after deep loosening with a chisel plough. Weight: 180 kg/m. The packer is suitable for use with ACTIVE-MIX legs.

TANDEM SPIKED Packer

Rear tandem rollers with a diameter of 245 mm have overlapping spikes. The overlapping arrangement of the spikes provides a self-cleaning effect. The machine can work in the most extreme conditions without clogging. The rollers can be moved, for example, in rocky soils. Weight: 157 kg/m. The packer is suitable for use with ACTIVE-MIX legs.

V-RING is a heavy steel packer suitable for intense crumbling and reverse soil consolidation. Suitable for all types of soil. Packer diameter 800 mm. The packer is equipped with scrapers that prevent it clogging.

AGRONOMICAL GUIDE

Deep soil cultivation has its proven advantages, and it can completely replace standard tillage when carried out at the right time and in the right way. Deep cultivation enables root systems to develop, disrupts compacted layers and the plough basin, and creates optimal soil environment for proper functional water and air conditions of soil. BEDNAR machines can carry out deep loosening up to the maximum depth of 65 centimetres. It is recommended to add profile fertilisation in one pass, to provide soil with essential nutrients.
