The TERRALAND TN_PROFI subsoiler is a machine for deep tillage up to a depth of 65 centimetres. When compared with the TERRALAND TN model, the TN_PROFI model includes two rows of cutting coulters mounted behind the rear spiked rollers. TERRALAND TN_PROFI subsoilers are available with two working widths – 3 and 4 metres. In one pass, this machine can effectively loosen, mix crop residues, crumble clods and prepare an ideal soil structure for seeding.

TWO TERRALAND TN_PROFI VERSIONS

Maximum cultivation depth, two types of protection.

The TERRALAND TN_PROFI subsoiler looses soil at a depth of up to 65 centimetres. The leg protection is mechanical using shear bolts, or hydraulic auto-reset leg protection for rocky and heavy soils. The release force of each leg ranges from 1,000 to 1,500 kg.

Creates ideal soil structure for seeding.

The TERRALAND TN_PROFI subsoiler includes an extra two-row cutting coulters section with specially fan-shaped discs with a diameter of 520 × 5 mm. The special shape of the discs provides efficient crumbling of large clods, covers crop residues, and perfectly levels off the field surface. The interlocking disc arrangement ensures an excellent self-cleaning effect.

Deep loosening
Subsoiling

The TERRALAND TN_PROFI subsoiler in combination with Active-Mix legs and spiked rollers is suitable for deep loosening. The special shape of the legs provides easy soil penetration, and excellent loosening and mixing effect. In one pass, the soil profile is loosened in depth and the soil surface is intensely mixed and levelled.

The TERRALAND TN_PROFI frame can be equipped with special ZERO-MIX legs, with a negative angle, and the heavy steel Cutpack for subsoiling without active mixing of soil. This operation is suitable for disrupting hardened soil layers, aerating the soil profile, and creating a proper soil environment.

The TERRALAND TN_PROFI subsoiler with a width of 3 metres is equipped with seven legs with a spacing of 40 centimetres. The TERRALAND TN_PROFI subsoiler with a width of 4 metres can be equipped with seven or nine legs. The spacing with seven legs is 56.5 cm, with nine legs it is 42.5 cm.

ASSEMBLED PARTS

The advantage for you? A longer durability.

The individual parts of the TERRALAND TN_PROFI subsoilers are assembled, not welded. The assembled parts (legs to frames, internal frames to leg beams) have a multiple-times longer durability than when those exposed parts are welded together.

A WIDE RANGE OF POINTS AND WINGS

Modify your machine according to your conditions.

Active-Mix legs can be equipped with points with a width of 70 mm for intense loosening, or with a width of 40 mm for demanding conditions and deep work. The leg wings undercut the disrupted bottom layer to eliminate clod formation. Points and wings are also available in the extremely durable LONG LIFE version (40 mm, 55 mm and 70 mm). The deeper you work, the narrower the point should be.

SAFE TRANSPORT

Compact dimensions of the subsoiler, even when equipped with cutting coulters.

The TERRALAND TN_PROFI subsoiler is very compact during transport because the cutting section hydraulically folds above the main machine frame. An advantage of this design is that the TERRALAND TN_PROFI subsoiler can also work without using the rear section, for example, in extremely waterlogged fields.

Precise fertiliser batching thanks to BEDNAR pressurised hoppers suitable for supplementary fertilisation into soil profile in one pass.

COMBO SYSTEM CS

The FERTI-BOX FB_F front mounted hopper is primarily designed for supply fertilisation directly in the soil profile and has a capacity of 1,900-2,200 litres. Fertiliser is pneumatically distributed from the front hopper to the distribution head mounted on the subsoiler.

The FERTI-CART FC is trailed cart which has a capacity of 3,500 litres. The orifice of the plastic hopper has a large inclination that allows to place lower-quality fertilisers. The TERRALAND TN subsoiler is easily aggregated using a three-point hitch.

The COMBO SYSTEM CS trailed double-chamber air-cart has a total capacity of 5,000 litres. The subsoiler is connected in the three-point hitch of the cart. The cart design enables placing two types of fertiliser in one pass, or use both tanks for one fertiliser.

Leg working section

The leg section layout ensures excellent loosening effect and mixing of crop residues with soil up to a depth of 65 centimetres. Two types of legs are available for deep loosening or subsoiling.

Leg protection

Each leg is individually protected, either hydraulically, or mechanically with the shear bolt.

Side deflectors

Maintain cultivated soil along the working width without the risk of side ridge formation.

Rear spiked rollers

Rear double rollers with a diameter of 245 mm have overlapping spikes that provide excellent self-cleaning effect.

Rear cutting section

Crumbles created clods well and levels off the field surface.

OUR INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES

PROFILE FERTILISATION AND DEEP LOOSENING IN ONE PASS

The system of profile fertilisation is one of the most efficient methods to maintain a sufficiently balanced nutrient supply in soil, not only in the arable horizon, but also in deeper layers of the soil profile. This innovative method of fertiliser application connected to deep soil cultivation is not only suitable for replenishing deficit nutrients in soil to reach a balanced level of a good supply, but also to improve accessibility of nutrients to plants, and it also has a positive effect on the growth of the root system.

LONG-LIFE POINTS AND WINGS

The point and the entire abrasion area of the abrasion point are covered with plates made of sintered carbides. The front part of the wings is made of carbide plates that minimise wear and tear in the width and maintain the same shape and functionality the whole time. The LONG LIFE model offers up to ten times longer service time when compared with the standard model, ensures a consistent working depth and quality of work, improves recessing, and provides lower costs and time saved by replacing working parts.

HIGH-STRENGTH STEEL FRAME

The high robustness and durability of the TERRALAND subsoiler frame are provided by the high-strength Alform steel, thanks to which the subsoiler can process soil at a maximum working depth.

CUTTER DISC SECTION

Cutter discs cut up crop residue, crumble clods, cover crop material with soil, and level the surface after previous operation so that the field is prepared for seeding in one pass.

WHAT DO THE FARMERS HAVE TO SAY?

“We only used to plough. We worked at two shifts, all the time. Now, there is not as much land to plough. We do mostly subsoiling, it is faster. Before that, we used to plough twice. We did the first tillage, then applied fertiliser, and in winter we did deep tillage. TERRALAND TN_PROFI prepares soil beautifully so that we can use the seed drill right away. The machine operation is very easy and the rear cutter discs are comfortably controlled with the hydraulics.”

Comfortable hydraulic AUTO-RESET leg protection for rocky and extremely hardened soils. The release force of each tine starts at 1000 kg and ends at 1500 kg.

Mechanical leg protection

Mechanical leg protection with a shear bolt. A suitable design for light soils without rocks.

Tine section

ZERO-MIX legs

The negative angle provides subsoiling without active mixing at a depth of up to 65 centimetres. The negative angle does not mix soil, disturbs the hardened layers intensely and aerates the soil profile.

ACTIVE-MIX legs

Designed for intense deep loosening up to 65 centimetres. The ACTIVE-MIX legs disrupt, intensely loosen soil and mix it with crop residues.

Additional side deflectors - mechanically adjustable

Rollers and packers

DOUBLE SPIKED Roller

Rear double roller with a diameter of 245 mm have overlapping spikes. The overlapping arrangement of the spikes provides a self-cleaning effect. The machine can work in the most extreme conditions without clogging. The rollers can be moved, for example, in rocky soils. Weight: 157 kg/m. The packer is suitable for use with ACTIVE-MIX legs.

DEEP SOIL CULTIVATION

Deep soil cultivation has its proven advantages, and it can completely replace standard tillage when carried out at the right time and in the right way. Deep cultivation enables root systems to develop, disrupts compacted layers and the plough basin, and creates optimal soil environment for proper functional water and air conditions of soil. BEDNAR machines can carry out deep loosening up to the maximum depth of 65 centimetres. It is recommended to add profile fertilisation in one pass, to provide soil with essential nutrients.
