INTRODUCING THE SECTION
The performance of combine harvesters and the width of headers are constantly increasing, but despite this technological progress, combine harvesters are often unable to spread crop residues evenly across the entire working width. Uneven distribution of material can subsequently affect the quality of stubble cultivation, weed germination and other follow-up operations.
That is why, in the field of crop residue management, we offer straw harrows with a working width from 6 to 12 metres, which reliably ensure even distribution of material and prepare the land for further tillage.
What are straw harrows used for
The straw harrows are designed for the initial management of crop residues after harvesting the crop. Their aggressive tines spread the crop residues evenly over the surface of the land, creating ideal conditions for their subsequent even incorporation during further tillage.
Thanks to their versatility, straw harrows can also be used very effectively for initial shallow stubble cultivation, establishing catch crops, seedbed preparation, opening and warming the soil in spring, as well as for aerating permanent grassland or cereal crops.

Mounted STRIEGEL-PRO PN straw harrow
The STRIEGEL-PRO PN product range is available in working widths from 6 to 9 metres and is designed for connection with tractors with a power output of 80 to 220 horsepower. This variant represents a versatile solution for various types of farms and tillage conditions.
The harrows can be equipped with a wide range of front working equipment, including the TRASH CUTTER cutting roller, CRUSHBAR levelling bar or TURBO coulters.

Trailed STRIEGEL–PRO PE straw harrow
The STRIEGEL-PRO PE trailed harrows provide a working width of 12 metres, enabling them to achieve exceptionally high daily output and making them ideal for working large areas. These straw harrows offer a wide range of uses throughout the year.
For even higher quality work, they can be equipped with TURBO coulters or CRUSHBAR levelling bar, which allows the intensity of the work to be adapted to the current conditions and the required agrotechnical operation.
