Deep loosening
Shallow stubble cultivation

FENIX FN can carry out deep loosening up to the maximum depth of 35 cm. Deep loosening is recommended especially before seeding deep-root crops, or in the autumn, as it prepares the foundation for the formation of a strong root system, through which the plant will absorb water and nutrients. Deep loosening helps achieve an adequate soil structure with the proper size of the individual soil particles, and it appropriately starts the functional and water regime of soil.

The design and a wide range of tines make the FENIX FN mounted tine cultivator suitable for shallow stubble cultivation up to 5–15 centimetres. We recommend fitting the FENIX FN tine cultivator with tines with wings for excellent soil profile processing. Properly performed stubble cultivation is important for the elimination of the growth of weeds, incorporation of crop residues into soil, it reduces the evaporation of soil moisture, and promotes the growth of unwanted seeds.

ROBUST CAST IRON TINE BRACKETS

Mounted to the machine main frame.

Each tine is mounted (not welded) to the main frame of the FENIX FN via solid bracket. The advantage of this solution lies in the high durability of the brackets and the frame. In case of its damage, each bracket can be easily replaced. Each tine firmly preserves its geometry and works within precisely defined limits without oscillations and lift.

TWO TYPES OF PROTECTION

Mechanical protection
Double spring reset tine protection

Tine protection by means of a shear bolt that breaks in the case of overloading. Basic version suitable for light soils, without stones.

This type of protection is suitable for middle to heavy soils or soils with limited density of stones. The release force is 500 kg.

NEW MAIN FRAME DESIGN

A welded frame with high durability.

The frame of the new FENIX FN model is completely welded, not assembled. FENIX FN thus offers maximum robustness and high durability even when cultivating the soil to a maximum depth of 35 centimetres. The high frame clearance of 80 cm in combination with the tine spacing of 93 cm in the row guarantees trouble-free soil cultivation even in fields with large quantities of crop residues.

CONVENIENT HYDRAULIC CONTROL

Comfortably from the tractor cabin.

The basic FENIX FN equipment includes hydraulic working depth adjustment. The working depth is set by placing the required number of integrated spacers on the hydraulic cylinders.

VARIOUS TYPES POINTS AND WINGS

Adjust the machine to deep loosening or shallow stubble cultivation.

The FENIX FN tine cultivator can be equipped with four types of points and three types of wings, which let you adjust the machine for deep loosening or shallow stubble cultivation after harvest. The machine can be equipped with standard 60 and 80 mm points or 40 and 80 mm LONG LIFE points. The tines can be fitted with 125 and 185 mm wings or the 185 mm LONG LIFE wings. The LONG LIFE tines provide constant working depth, excellent loosening effect and required quality of work.

TWO LEVELLING SECTION OPTIONS

Levelling spring tine or discs.

Two types of rear levelling sections are available for the FENIX FN tine cultivator. Levelling spring tines or discs are available. The levelling spring tines are maintenance-free. The levelling disc bearings with rubber blocks protection are also maintenance-free. The levelling section is automatically adjustable in relation to the working depth. The levelling section height can be additionally set mechanically.

A WIDE RANGE OF REAR PACKERS

To adjust the FENIX FN tine cultivator to specific soil conditions.

FENIX FN can be equipped with various rear packers, available in a diameter from 470/30 to 630 mm. The rear packer does not only maintain the set working depth, but it provides quality clod crumbling and closes the soil profile.

It helps level the soil surface and crumbles larger clods before the final soil profile consolidation. The levelling section is automatically adjustable in relation to the working depth.

LONG-LIFE points

The reinforced LONG-LIFE points with an extended service life are fitted with carbide tips. The durability of such points is multiple times longer, namely in abrasive soils. The time spent replacing points can be thus used more efficiently.

V-RING is a heavy steel packer suitable for intense crumbling and soil consolidation. The packer is suitable for all types of soil. Packer diameter 530 mm.

U-RING Packer

U-RING is a steel packer suitable for all types of soil with quality crumbling and low stickiness. The individual rings are U-shaped. Packer diameter 500 mm. Weight: 122 kg/m.

DOUBLE-ROLLER Packer

This packer consists of a tube and slatted packer with different diameters. The packer is suitable for cultivating medium and light types of soil in drier conditions. Packer diameter 470 and 370 mm. Weight: 132 kg/m.

Cage Roller

The cage roller is made of massive steel rods with a good crumbling effect, particularly when reaching higher working speed. Packer diameter 630 mm. A suitable design for light soils. Weight: 121 kg/m.

SPRING Packer

The Spring packer is a single-row, light, steel packer made of rings. A suitable packer for lighter soils. Packer diameter 530 mm.

AGRONOMICAL GUIDE

INTENSE SOIL CULTIVATION
FENIX tine cultivators are suitable tools for intense soil cultivation of up to 35 centimetres. The optimally designed layout of the individual tines provides excellent soil profile undercutting and mixing of crop residues with soil. Intense loosening provides soil with the proper structure, with the properties of a fungus that is able to absorb precipitation and provide water to roots in the dry season.
