The EFECTA CE seed drill has a working width of 12 metres. In its category, it is an extremely versatile seed drill, equipped with double-chamber pressurised hopper with a capacity of 6,000 litres. It can be equipped with four types of front equipment installed in front of the drill coulters. The large working width in combination with a high working speed guarantees achieving high daily outputs.

EFECTA CE is an extremely versatile seed drill with a working width of 12 metres and exceptionally low demands for the tractor power. That provides high working speed and effectiveness of the whole set. The EFECTA CE wide working width seed drill can seed up to 20 ha/h. Even with this hourly output, EFECTA CE can establish crops with high seeding amounts.

The double-chamber version of the pressurised hopper enables seeding the crop together with row fertiliser placement in one pass, or mixing seeds with fertiliser in the metering piping. The fertiliser dosing and the selected seeding amount are completely independent of one another.

The EFECTA CE wide working width seed drill can also be used for establishing several types of crop. One chamber can be filled with the main crop seeds, the other chamber with the companion crop seeds. This structural design makes it possible to seed two crops together, bringing new agronomic opportunities in response to the current farming requirements. The seeding amount of the crops can be set individually.

To use the performance potential, both chambers can be used for one type of seed. It will reduce the time needed for refilling the hopper and increase the efficiency of the EFECTA CE wide working width seed drill.

The hydraulically controlled Crushbar levelling bar is especially suitable for the final surface levelling in front of the drill coulters. It is easily controlled using the hydraulic circuit from the comfort of the cabin.

PROFI coulters are specially shaped, hydraulically controlled discs. They enable the operator to quickly respond to the current conditions. It is important seed drill equipment for heavier soils.

TURBO coulters are sharp discs mounted behind the disc section. The coulters work in the same line as the rear drill coulters. It is important seed drill equipment when seeding directly into a stubble field, or in the catch crop.

FERTI coulter are used for fertiliser application. The fertiliser placement depth is adjustable independently of the seed placement depth. The coulters are designed with a spacing of 12,5/16,7 cm for a high throughput.

Automatic switching of the individual sections based on a GPS signal. EFECTA CE has four sections, each three metres wide.

Variable placement of seeds and fertiliser (adjustment according to the seeding amount and dosage) based on the regulatory maps according to the machine position.

Two-way data transmission from PC to the screen terminal (seeded area, seeded amount and other data).

The required seeding dose can be entered in kg/ha or in units per m2 (in this case, seed HTS and germination capacity also have to be entered).

Allows setting the machine so that the seeds are in the drill coulters at the right time when starting, or lowering or lifting the machine into the working or headland position.

FOUR DISTRIBUTION HEADS

Even high-quantity application.

EFECTA CE is equipped with four distribution heads for even distribution of seed / fertiliser to the individual drill coulters and for the ability to apply high doses of fertiliser and seeds. That ensures the same distance to all drill coulters from the distribution head. This solution also offers a sectional control by every three metres of the working width.

WELL-ESTABLISHED USE OF PARALLEL LINKAGE

For drill coulters and seed bar sections.

The drill coulter sections are mounted on the side frames via parallel linkage and each drill coulter has its own parallel linkage within the proven PSP system. The combination of such mounting provides perfect terrain contouring and maintaining a constant depth of seeding along the entire working width.

TWO ROW SPACING OPTIONS

12.5 or 16.7 centimetres.

The EFECTA CE wide working width seed drill can be equipped, as standard, with drill coulters with an row spacing of 12.5 cm suitable for cropping systems with a high ratio of cereals in the crop rotation. The row spacing of 16.7 cm is suitable for seeding with large quantities of crop residues on the surface.

EXCELLENT SEED PLACEMENT

Precisely designed drill coulter.

The double-disc seed coulter with an offset disc cuts crop residues and creates a clean and prepared groove for even seed placement. There is either a standard, or carbide scraper between two coulters. The seeds are then covered with fine soil and pressed down into the soil by the depth wheel. The depth wheel is available in two sizes: 330×50 mm and 330×65 mm.

FLOW SENSORS

Keep track of the throughput of each drill coulter.

The seed drill can be equipped with flow sensors on request. The device ensures that if a drill coulter gets clogged, the information is displayed on the screen. That guarantees maximum seeding accuracy.

SAFE TRANSPORT

The seed drill meets the E.U. requirements.

Even though the EFECTA CE seed drill has a working width of 12 metres, its transport on roads is easy and safe. The side frames of the seed drill fold forward and the transport length is only 7.8 metres. The wide arrangement of the transport wheels provides a good stability, even at higher speed. The compact dimensions also contribute to easy and fast turning at headland.

FAST, SAFE AND EASY

Double-chamber hopper filling.

The fast and comfortable filling of the EFECTA CE hopper is ensured by an easily accessible and wide platform with railing and steps. To fill the hopper, the steel lid swings by 90°. The hopper filling level is indicated by two sensors. One is installed higher and its angle is adjustable, the other one is installed in the lower third of the hopper.

Front equipment

The seed drill can be equipped with several types of front equipment – PROFI coulters, TURBO coulters, FERTI coulters, levelling bar, levelling bar with gamma points.

Distribution heads

Provide even seed/fertiliser distribution to the individual drill coulters. They enable sectional control for every 3 metres of the width.

Seed bar

The individual sections of the seed bar are mounted via parallel linkage on the side frames for perfect contouring. Optional row spacing of 12.5 or 16.7 cm.

Double-disc drill coulters

The drill coulters are mounted to the seed bar sections via parallel linkage, which provides even seed placement at a constant depth level. Optional row spacing of 12.5 or 16.7 cm.

Double-chamber, pressurised hopper

The pressurised hopper enables seeding large amounts of seeds and improves the precision of seeding. The hopper is divided in the ratio of 60:40.

OUR INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES

DOUBLE EDGE DRILL COULTERS

The machine moves away from the ideal line and wobbles when seeding. That creates increased gaps, or so-called “eyes” between the individual rides in the field (with standard arrangement of the drill coulters). All those deficiencies are eliminated with our innovative design – the double edge drill coulters. When there is a deviation from the ideal line, the growth is only thinned locally without any significant gaps, or eyes“.

PRESSURISED HOPPER MODEL

EFECTA CE is equipped with a double-chamber pressurised hopper for seeding precision and crop establishment, even with higher seeding amounts. The double-chamber hopper of the EFECTA CE seed drill offers a total capacity of 6,000 litres in the ratio of 60:40.

DRILL COULTER PSP SYSTEM

The double-disc drill coulters are attached to the seeding bar frame with a parallelogram. The design provides perfect terrain contouring and even seed placement at the same depth along the entire width of the machine.

Drill coulters

Drill coulters with row spacing of 16.7 cm

The row spacing of 16.7 cm provides better material throughput. It is suitable for technologies with larger quantities of crop residue on the surface.

Drill coulters with row spacing of 12.5 cm

The row spacing of 12.5 cm offers plants better competitiveness against weeds and improves the engagement of the crop.

Crushbar levelling bar

The hydraulically controlled levelling bar is suitable for levelling unevenness and surface before the drill coulters.

FERTI coulters

FERTI coulters are used for applying fertiliser in the rows. The FERTI coulter creates a groove where the application end piece applies the fertiliser.

TURBO coulters

TURBO coulters are discs with a sharp cutting edge. The coulters work in the same line as the rear drill coulters. They cut the plant mulch and soil, where the drill coulter places the seeds.

PROFI coulters

The specially shaped PROFI coulters offer an excellent crumbling effect and finalise the work of the disc section. Especially suitable for heavy soils.

AGRONOMICAL GUIDE

MAIN AND COMPANION CROP ESTABLISHMENT
The main reasons for using companion crop in the seeding methods in the past few years lie in the legislation and ecology. The pressure on implementing better principles to limit soil and air erosion is increasing, as well as on improving the balance of organic matter, increasing water infiltration in soil, and reducing the application of chemicals. In the long term, companion crop can improve the condition of soil environment, increase the share of organic matter and thus work better with the limiting factors of yield, such as moisture and nutrition of the main crop.
