New EFECTA CE Seed Drill Beyond the Borders of the Czech Republic

Poland was an export market where we delivered the first serially produced wide seeding machine, EFECTA CE, in 2021. In total, there are now three EFECTA CE seed drills operating in Poland. One of the most recent EFECTA CE machines was delivered to a customer in the Opole Voivodeship in the second half of September this year.

The large contact area of the tracks ensures low soil pressure, which is at the level of 42.75 kPa.

The youngest EFECTA CE in Poland is working with a John Deere tractor with a power of 345 HP.

This piece of the EFECTA CE seed drill is special in that it is the first machine with a FLOATRAX undercarriage in Poland. The customer chose the undercarriage primarily for its soil-friendly handling and low soil pressure since the undercarriage better distributes the weight of the seed drill on the ground.

Seed Drill Now Establishing Winter Wheat Crops

During the visit, we found the seeding machine working in combination with a JOHN DEERE 8345R tractor. In a field that had been prepared after winter rapeseed with a chisel cultivator, a winter wheat crop was sown at a rate of 110 kg/ha. The set was moving at a working speed ranging from 14–15 km/h.

The BEDNAR EASY CONTROL software was custom-developed for the seed drill by BEDNAR engineers.

The EFECTA CE seed drill allows for seed and fertilizer mixing, which occurs in the distribution pipeline.

Easy Control with the BEDNAR EASY CONTROL System

The BEDNAR EASY CONTROL system offers an easy and user-friendly control of various functions. The software provides a range of advanced and smart features,including easy seed calibration, a seed library, pre-seeding options, the ability to input seeding rates in kg/ha or individual seeds per m2, and more. It includes Section Control, Task Controller, and Variable Rate.

The customer chose a seed drill equipped with pre-emergence markers, a special suction chute, drill coulter inter-row spacing of 12.5 cm or a fan controlled by a separate tractor PTO-driven pump. The machine also features hydraulically controlled tractor track cultivators or transport axle track cultivators.

The seed drill was delivered with a TURBO coulter working section, which the customer decided to expand with a second set of PROFI coulters.
