FENIX tine cultivator: Deep tillage for year-round use

FENIX tine cultivator from BEDNAR: efficient loosening down to 35 cm, four types of points, year-round use. Ideal for stubble cultivation, seedbed preparation and deep loosening.

FENIX: A VERSATILE MACHINE

The FENIX range from BEDNAR stands out for its ability to support farmers throughout the year, thanks to versatility that goes far beyond simple summer stubble cultivation. Designed for deep soil work, this series of tine cultivators can be used both post harvest and throughout the seasons, depending on soil conditions and needs.

SUMMER STUBBLE CULTIVATION

Right now, just after the harvest, the FENIX can play a key role in residue management and soil preparation. Its long and robust tines penetrate the surface layer efficiently, promoting stubble decomposition. Its ability to work deeper than a disc cultivator allows it to start building a quality seedbed from the very first pass. This efficient operation optimises the short intervention window between harvest and the next field operations, such as rapeseed sowing.

SOIL PREPARATION THROUGHOUT THE SEASONS

But the use of the FENIX doesn’t stop there. In autumn, this range reveals its full potential by working the soil deeply, up to 35 cm, breaking up plough pans and aerating the soil. This intensive work improves soil structure, enhances air and water circulation, and prepares the ideal conditions for winter crops or cover crops to establish strong root systems. In spring, the FENIX can also be used to refine the soil, eliminate regrowth, and prepare the field for early sowing. Its precise depth adjustment and various rear roller options ensure a perfect finish, tailored to each soil type and tillage strategy.

POINTS FOR ALL CONDITIONS

This ability to operate at several key times of the year makes the FENIX a universal tool, capable of adapting to diverse farming practices and soil requirements. Whether it’s light stubble cultivation after harvest, deep loosening before winter, or fine seedbed preparation in spring, the range offers a robust and reliable technical solution, while preserving soil structure. This is made possible thanks to four types of points and three types of wings. The machine can be fitted with standard 60 mm and 80 mm points, or 40 mm and 80 mm LONG LIFE versions. These can be combined with 125 mm and 185 mm wings, or a LONG LIFE version of the 185 mm wing.

FOCUS ON THE FENIX FO_PROFI

The FO_PROFI version, in addition to offering a working width up to 7.9 meters, introduces several very interesting concepts. In fact, this version features a greater spacing between the tines and a four-row layout. This layout enables a “V” configuration for the tines, which helps reduce tractor traction requirements. This FENIX version is also characterised by its parallelogram system that keeps the position of the rollers, ensuring consistent work regardless of working depth. Finally, the machine’s most attractive option is arguably its hydraulic Auto-reset point protection system (maximum release force: 660 kg; maximum lifting height: 35 cm).

Far from being limited to a single season, the FENIX range supports farmers in sustainable and efficient soil management, optimising every intervention to boost productivity.
