The FERTI-CART FC single-chamber trailed hopper has a capacity of 3,500 litres. The FERTI-CART FC is primarily designed for supply fertilisation in combination with soil cultivators, such as FENIX FN, TERRALAND TN or TERRASTRIP ZN. It can also be used for seeding in combination with the CORSA CN seed bar. The pressurised design provides accurate application, even at high fertiliser amounts.

FERTI-CART FC is a single-chamber triled hopper designed to work with machines for deep soil cultivation with simultaneous fertiliser or seed placement. The robust three-point hitch enables combination with the TERRALAND TN subsoilers, the TERRASTRIP ZN cultivator, or the versatile tine cultivator FENIX FN.

LARGE-CAPACITY TANK

High performance without the need of frequent refills.

The FERTI-CART FC has one chamber with a capacity of 3,500 litres. The tank is made of plastic and it is shaped to also enable application of lower-quality fertiliser.

PRESSURISED HOPPER DESIGN

Increases accuracy and enables the application of even high doses.

The hopper of the FERTI-CART FC is pressurised. Thanks to the air-tight closure, overpressure is created in the hopper. This technical solution enables the application of large doses with high accuracy, regardless of the size of the seed/fertiliser granules.

STAINLESS METERING UNIT

Dosing according to the agronomic needs.

The metering unit is made of stainless steel and driven by an electric motor, as a result of this the dispensed amount is accurate at any speed. It is equipped with a GPS speed sensor.

Seed metering rollers.

Our product range includes various types of seed metering rollers for dosing different fertiliser and seed sizes. We offer seed metering rollers from 30 cm³ to 790 cm³.

TENSOMETRIC WEIGHING SYSTEM

Accurate information on the quantity of the used fertiliser or seeds with data transfer to the display.

The FERTI-CART FC can be equipped with a tensometric weighing system. The system is based on three tensometric weight sensors that provide information both on the quantity of fertiliser or seeds in the hopper, and on the already placeda or seeded amount.

INTUITIVE AND CLEAR OPERATION

Fully ISOBUS-compatible mounted hopper.

The FERTI-CART FC trailed hopper enables connection to the tractor via ISOBUS technology or control via BEDNAR’s own ISOBUS monitor. A range of control monitors is available with basic or advanced control functions. FERTI-CART FC is supplied with BEDNAR EASY CONTROL software developed by BEDNAR engineers.

ONE CHAMBER, TWO OUTLETS

Maximum precision and savings.

In the basic equipment, the trailed hopper is equipped with one outlet that does not allow the switching off of half of the working width as with, for example, the CORSA CN seed bar. For maximum accuracy and economy of seed or fertiliser for connection to machines with half-working width shut-off, the FERTI-CART FC can be equipped with two outlets.

TRACTOR TRACK ERADICATORS

Hydraulically adjustable.

As an option, the FERTI-CART FC 3500 hopper can be equipped with integrated tractor track eradicators. These tines are used for the loosening of compacted tracks created by the tractor. The track eradicator is equipped with double-sided shares.

CONVENIENT CALIBRATION

With the FARM LINK mobile app.

BEDNAR developers have designed a mobile phone app that makes it easy and simple to calibrate a trailed hopper right from your phone. The mobile app also includes a guide to help you choose the right seed metering roller based on the seed/fertiliser type, working speed and seed rate.

CAMERA SYSTEM

For perfect overview and safety at work.

The FERTI-CART FC can be equipped with a camera system that provides an overview of the connected equipment in the three-point hitch of the trailed hopper. In relation to the equipment, the camera image is shown on the tractor display or BEDNAR terminal.

LARGE FLOATING TYRES

Prevent undesirable soil compaction.

The FERTI-CART FC trailed cart is equipped with large floating tyres with a dimension of 550/60-22,5. The floating tyres have a low specific pressure on soil, they prevent potential soil compaction, which most often occurs when the set turns at headland, or works in wet conditions.

Three-point hitch

It is used for the connection of different types of mounted or semi-mounted machines.

Transport axle

The transport axle is equipped with large floating tyres that reduce pressure on soil and provide stability during transport.

Weighing system

The tensometric weighing system provides overview of the fertiliser amount in the hopper and the applied dose. The system allows easy data transfer to the tractor display.

Metering unit

Driven by an electric motor, provides a high accuracy of dosing.

Pressurised hopper

The pressurised hopper ensures accurate dosing of high doses of fertiliser or seed, regardless of the size of the seed/fertiliser granules.

Additional weights

With weight of up to 1,500 kg, it adds extra weight to the rear axle of the tractor and improves its towing properties.

Tractor track eradicators

Equipment for the loosening of compacted tracks created by the tractor.

Fan

The fan is used to create an air flow that transports the fertiliser/seed to the distribution head of the tillage or seed drill.

OUR INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES

PRESSURISED TANK

The pressure pushes fertiliser through the metering unit. Thanks to this design, the storage tank can apply even lower-quality fertilisers or higher amounts of fertiliser in a better and more precise way.

REMOTE FARM LINK CALIBRATION

The BEDNAR FARM LINK mobile app allows operators to calibrate the metering mechanism and enter calibration values directly from the machine without having to enter the tractor cab and use the terminal.

WHAT DO THE FARMERS HAVE TO SAY?

“At the beginning, I was worried about how it would work. But I no longer worry. The setting is very easy. The NPK dosing is accurate. We even counted it and it matches. To me, it is a joy to drive this machine. Currently, I am working at a depth of 40 cm, travelling at a speed of 9 km/h. The NPK dose is set at 200 kg per hectare. I am able to do 25-30 hectares per day. It depends on the field.”

AGRONOMICAL GUIDE

PROFILE FERTILISATION
The placement of fertiliser into the soil environment known as profile fertilisation should be carried out together with depth loosening using FENIX cultivators, combined ACTROS cultivators or TERRALAND subsoilers. Such precisely placed fertiliser motivates the root system to grow faster and bigger which helps solve current issues with soil moisture. This fertiliser placement system is most often used for establishing deep-rooting crops such as corn, sugar beet or rape.
