TERRALAND TO trailed rippers are designed for deep tillage to be hitched with the most powerful tractors on the market. TERRALAND TO rippers have an exceptionally durable and robust frame. That makes them suitable for processing soil up to a depth of 22″, even with a working width of 21′. The integrated transport axle installed between the shanks enables the TERRALAND TO ripper to also work without the rear rollers.

HYDRAULIC RESET SHANK PROTECTION

Intense tillage up to a depth of 22".

The trailed ripper is made in working widths from 13′ 1″ to 21′. The extremely robust frame made of brackets with a diameter of 6″×6″ with the hydraulic reset shank protection enables intense deep tillage up to a depth of 22″. The hydraulic RESET protection provides a release force for each shank in the range of 2,204 to 3,306 lbs.

The TERRALAND TN_PROFI ripper in combination with Active-Mix shanks and spiked rollers is suitable for deep loosening. The special shape of the shanks provides easy soil penetration, and excellent loosening and mixing effect. In one pass, the soil profile is loosened in depth and the soil surface is intensely mixed and levelled.

The TERRALAND TN_PROFI frame can be equipped with special Zero-Mix shanks, with a negative angle, and the heavy steel Cutpack for subsoiling without active mixing of soil. This operation is suitable for disrupting hardened soil layers, aerating the soil profile, and creating a proper soil environment.

DEEP LOOSENING AND SOIL CRUMBLING

Two operations in one pass save time and money.

The TERRALAND TO ripper consists of two ranks of shanks, followed by tandem spiked rollers. Active shanks provide deep soil loosening, tandem spiked rollers overlap and offer an excellent crumbling effect. The advantage of the rollers is that they can be adjusted according to the required work, for example, in rocky soils.

INTEGRATED AXLE

Tillage without rear rollers in muddy conditions.

The TERRALAND TO ripper has an integrated transport axle between two ranks of shanks. This structural design lets you work with the TERRALAND TO ripper in extremely adverse conditions because the rollers can be easily put out of operation. It prevents undesirable clogging of rollers, allowing you to continue working. Moreover, the axle reduces the turning radius at headland and allows for an easy approach to the next take.

A WIDE RANGE OF POINTS AND WINGS

Modify your machine according to your conditions.

ACTIVE-MIX shanks can be equipped with points with a width of 2.8″ for intense loosening, or with a width of 1.6″ for demanding conditions and deep work. The shanks wings undercut the disrupted bottom layer to eliminate clod formation. Points and wings are also available in the extremely durable LONG LIFE version (1.6″, 2.2″ and 2.8″). The deeper you work, the narrower the point should be.

PREPARED FOR CTF SYSTEM THANKS TO THE WORKING WIDTH OF 21'

Reduced numbers of passes and soil compaction.

The CTF (controlled traffic farming) system eliminates soil compaction and optimises the passes of the individual sets. When working, the individual sets travel across the field in the given grid of the working width (20′, 40′, 60′, 80′ etc.), which prevents the formation of uneven compaction in the field as well as in the tracks that can be easily tilled.

COMBINATION WITH FERTILIZER TANKS

Precise fertilizer batching thanks to BEDNAR pressurised tanks suitable for supplementary fertilization into soil profile in one pass.

The FERTI-BOX FB mounted tank is primarily designed for supply fertilization directly in the soil profile and has a capacity of 84 bu. Fertilizer is pneumatically distributed from the tank to the distribution tower mounted on the chisel plough.

The FERTI-CART FC is trailed cart which has a capacity of 100 bu. The orifice of the polyethylen tank has a large inclination that allows to apply lower-quality fertilizers.

The COMBO SYSTEM CS two tanks air-cart has a total capacity of 140 bu. The cart design enables applying two types of fertilizer in one pass, or use both tanks for one fertilizer.

ADJUST THE IMPLEMENT TO THE SEASON

TERRALAND TO equipped with ZERO-MIX shanks and Cutpack

Soil moisture loss can occur during deep tillage in summer. Therefore, we have developed the ‘ZERO-MIX’, a special shank with a negative angle for the TERRALAND TO implement. The shank removes compacted soil layers, aerates the soil profile and creates a proper soil environment. The heavy steel Cutpack covers the soil surface.

SOIL PROFILE FERTILIZATION AND DEEP LOOSENING IN ONE PASS

The system of soil profile fertilization is one of the most efficient methods to maintain a sufficiently balanced nutrient supply in soil, not only in the arable horizon, but also in deeper layers of the soil profile. This innovative method of fertilizer application connected to deep soil cultivation is not only suitable for replenishing deficit nutrients in soil to reach a balanced level of a good supply, but also to improve accessibility of nutrients to plants, and it also has a positive effect on the growth of the root system.

LONG-LIFE POINTS AND WINGS

The point and the entire abrasion area of the abrasion point are covered with plates made of sintered carbides. The front part of the wings is made of carbide plates that minimise wear and tear in the width and maintain the same shape and functionality the whole time. The LONG LIFE model offers up to ten times longer service time when compared with the standard model, ensures a consistent working depth and quality of work, improves recessing, and provides lower costs and time saved by replacing working parts.

HYDRAULIC DRAWBAR

The hydraulic cylinder of the drawbar allows excellent terrain contouring. It eliminates tension affecting the drawbar and absorbs shocks, even at high working speeds.

AUTOMATIC LUBRICATION OF THE TRANSPORT AXLE

For higher operator’s comfort, the TERRALAND TO chisel plough can be equipped with a system of automatic lubrication of the transport axle.

Shanks

ZERO-MIX shanks

The negative angle provides ripping without active mixing at a depth of up to 22″. The negative angle does not mix soil, disturbs the hardened layers intensely and aerates the soil profile.

ACTIVE-MIX shanks

Designed for intense deep loosening up to 22″. The Active-Mix shanks disrupt, intensely loosen soil and mix it with crop residue.

Comfortable hydraulic AUTO-RESET shank protection for rocky and extremely hardened soils. The release force of each shank starts at 2205 lb and ends at 3307 lb.

Rollers and packers

CUTPACK Packer + scrapers

CUTPACK is a heavy steel packer with a high cutting capability and an excellent reverse compaction effect. Suitable for heavy soils. Packer diameter 25″. Weight: 1606 lb/ft (including scrapers). The packer is suitable for use with Zero-Mix shanks.

HYDRAULICALLY-ADJUSTABLE TANDEM DOUBLE ROLLER

Rear tandem packers with a diameter of 16″ and 10″ have overlapping spikes. The overlapping arrangement of the rollers provides a self-cleaning effect. The adjustable double roller is used for effective cultivation of soil with a high quantity of crop residue after deep loosening with a chisel plough. Weight: 1302 lb/ft. The packer is suitable for use with Active-Mix shanks.

TANDEM SPIKED Packer

Rear tandem rollers with a diameter of 10″ have overlapping spikes. The overlapping arrangement of the spikes provides a self-cleaning effect. The implement can work in the most extreme conditions without clogging. The rollers can be moved, for example, in rocky soils. Weight: 1136 lb/ft. The packer is suitable for use with Active-Mix shanks.

Front cutting coulters

Used for disrupting crop residue on soil surface. They also create a furrow that makes it easier for shares to penetrate soil.

Rear rollers

V-RING Packer + Scrapers

V-RING is a heavy steel packer suitable for intense crumbling and reverse soil compaction. Suitable for all types of soil. Packer diameter 32″. The packer is equipped with scrapers that prevent it clogging.

AGRONOMICAL GUIDE

DEEP TILLAGE
Deep tillage has its proven advantages, and it can completely replace standard tillage when carried out at the right time and in the right way. Deep tillage enables root systems to develop, disrupts compacted layers and the plough pan, and creates optimal soil environment for proper functional water and air conditions of soil. BEDNAR implements can carry out deep loosening up to the maximum depth of 26″. It is recommended to add profile fertilization in one pass, to provide soil with essential nutrients.
