BEDNAR Machines Improve Quality of Work in the Sebranice Agro Cooperative

The Sebranice Agro Cooperative, ZD Radiměř and ZD Květná use BEDNAR machines in aggregation with the John Deere 9RX 9570 caterpillar tractor. It lets them cultivate all of 3,049 hectares of arable land quickly, precisely and efficiently. How they farm in the cooperative? What interesting technology do they use? Sebranice Agro Cooperative and subsidiaries

Sebranice Agro Cooperative is located on the border of the Pardubice and Vysočina regions. Its subsidiaries – the Radiměř and Květná agricultural cooperatives – are nearby. All three cooperatives manage an area of 3,347 hectares, out of which arable land covers 3,049 hectares.

All the cooperatives are involved in both plant and animal production. As far as plants are concerned, they grow traditional crops that they use in fodder mixtures. In the animal production, they have dairy cows, bulls for meat and pigs. The Sebranice Agro Cooperative operates a fully automated robotic shed and a biogas station with an output of 440 kW. The first BEDNAR machine in the company

The first ever BEDNAR machine in the company was the DOWNLANDS disc cultivator with a width of 5 metres. They have been using it since 2000 and Mr. Dvořák says about it: “We still drive this disc cultivator because there are still spare parts available in BEDNAR. And it is a robust, heavy disc machine that still works, especially in very dry conditions.”

Modern BEDNAR technology

In 2017, the Radiměř Cooperative purchased the TERRALAND TO 6000 chisel plough, the ATLAS AM 12000 disc cultivator, the SWIFTER SM 16000 seedbed cultivator, and the FERTI-BOX FB 3000 fertiliser hopper, together with the John Deere 9RX 9570 caterpillar tractor with a power of 570 HP.

Miloš Dvořák, the agronomist, explained one of the reasons for purchasing all the technology: “We wanted to move our farming forward. To farm better and to better use the potential of agricultural land. Therefore, we started cooperating with BEDNAR. First, we checked the machines out during the field days and then we rented some of them.”

After testing the rented machines, we started to look into purchasing some of them. We had also tested out some of the older machines by BEDNAR and so we knew that those machines worked very well in our conditions. Therefore, we started to cooperate in a new project in 2017 and purchased the new BEDNAR machines,” agronomist Miloš Dvořák explains.
