What is a rotary mulcher for

Mulching is suitable for land maintenance to reduce the growth of weeds and self-sown trees. In the context of crop residue management, mulching is an effective and economical way to prepare the land after harvesting the previous crop for subsequent operations. It involves cutting and shredding plant residues, which significantly accelerates their decomposition.

Mulching also acts as a mechanical method of pest control, for example, the corn borer, which often overwinters in stubble after the corn harvest.

Main advantages of BEDNAR rotary mowers

All BEDNAR rotary mowers are characterised by a highly robust construction and a hot-dip galvanised surface, which provides them with exceptional resistance to aggressive plant juices and weather conditions. Thanks to this design, the machines are maximally protected and achieve a long service life even in demanding conditions.

Easy maintenance is ensured by direct lubrication of all cardan joints, while the friction clutch serves as a safe protection for the gearboxes. The armour plating on the underside of the rotary mowers significantly increases their resistance to punctures when working in dense vegetation or on stony surfaces.

The TRASH-FAN device for continuous cleaning of the machine surface is centrally located to provide maximum efficiency during operation.

MULCHER MZ semi-mounted rotary mower

The MULCHER MZ is equipped with three rotors and is available in two versions with a working width of 4.5 or 5.8 metres. The combination of wide working width and high working speed allows for exceptionally high daily output, even on large areas.

Perfect terrain contouring is ensured by the walking axle together with a large swing range of the wings from −15° to +45°.

Wide working width rotary mower MULCHER MM

The largest of our rotary mowers, the MULCHER MM, has a working width of 7 metres and is equipped with five rotors, enabling it to efficiently process large areas while keeping high quality of work. The machine is suitable for connection with tractors with a power output of 200 horsepower and, thanks to its wide working width, achieves exceptionally high daily outputs.

The mulcher can be equipped with a TRASH-FAN device, which significantly reduces the accumulation of dirt on the surface of the machine and contributes to its cleanliness and smooth operation.
