BEDNAR Easy Control enables automatic sequential machine folding or unfolding from a single button on the terminal display in the tractor cabin. All operating parameters or sections are set in the tractor cabin by simply entering the values on the terminal display. The hydraulic system of the machine is automatically set to the correct position for the entered values. The system allows for easy parameter setting:
Machines with the BEDNAR Easy Control system can fold and unfold by simply holding down one button, without any interaction required from the user – the process is completely autonomous, the user only has to hold the button down for safety reasons. Its status is checked continuously during work and the system immediately notifies the operator of any issues. The BEDNAR Company develops machines with respect to the latest trends in the methods of control of agricultural machines. Machines with the Easy Control system are compatible with the standard.
When an IoT system is added to the machine with a corresponding interface, the agronomist or technician can see all the information about the machine on their PC or a mobile device, including all the settings and the momentary status (GPS position of the machine on the map, whether the machine is running, travelling speed 12 km/h, precise depth, all detail settings and statistical data such as area processed or capacity). Naturally, it is not only possible to display the current data, but also the history of the machine’s work.
During work, the machine sends information to the tractor terminal, which can be then used in the FMIS systems (Farm Management Information System) for detailed analyses of the work done, or for finding economic-agronomic relations. For example, you can create a map of the soil cultivation depth after work that you can compare with the fuel consumption map and assess whether and what effect the cultivation depth has on the crop. The cultivation depth map can also be created in FMIS for the machine to set automatically and follow it in the field (the operator, however, has the option to change the depth in the tractor for ideal local soil cultivation).
The machine with the EasyControl system enables completely automated lifting and lowering at headlands according to the current GPS position (a tractor terminal with a GPS receiver is required). It is thus another milestone in the automation of agricultural production and it facilitates the operators’ work who can pay more attention to the work of the machine without having to worry about when to lift and lower the machine.
