BEDNAR presented the largest disc cultivator at the TRACTION BOOTCAMP event

The BOOTCAMP event organised by Traction took place in Germany in the second half of October. Held for the sixteenth time, BOOTCAMP focused on the presentation of the most powerful tractors (JOHN DEERE 9RX, CASE IH QUADTRAC, CLAAS XERION and FENDT MT) in connection with tillage machines.

The BEDNAR SWIFTERDISC XE 18400 MEGA – the most powerful disc cultivator during the presentation in the arena

Many competitors have introduced machines with a maximum working width of 12 m. BEDNAR was represented by the SWIFTERDISC XE 18400 MEGA disc cultivator. The largest disc cultivator with a working width of 18.4 m, it managed to till 769.36 ha in 24 hours last year as part of the 24 HOURS RECORD event. The SWIFTERDISC XE 18400 MEGA disc cultivator was connected to a CLAAS XERION 12.650 tractor during the event.

Big, bigger, the biggest and most powerful

The SWIFTERDISC XE_MEGA disc cultivator range offers three models with working widths from 14.4 to 18.4 m. The characteristic feature of these machines is the TWIN-DISC system (paired disc attachment on one tine). Thanks to this solution, the distance between each tine is greater and the machine has greater throughput.

High-quality tillage in a single pass and large area output

The disc section is arranged in an “X” (X-PRECISE system).
This positioning of the disc sections balances the forces and the disc cultivator follows the tractor track precisely – it does not drift. The great advantage of these disc cultivators is the forward-offset transport axle, which guarantees the stability of the machine even at high working speeds. Two side folding frames contribute to the fast folding and unfolding of the machine, keeping down pressure on the side sections and guaranteeing compact transport dimensions (transport width max. 3 m, height 4 m).
