BEDNAR Enters the Spanish and Portuguese Markets

BEDNAR, the Czech manufacturer of agricultural technology, entered the Iberian Peninsula at the beginning of this year. The local market is demanding and specific. Therefore, BEDNAR had spent some time getting ready in 2020. Starting in 2021, Spanish and Portuguese farmers will be able to use the innovative agricultural machines by BEDNAR for soil cultivation, fertilisation, seeding and mulching.

Jan Bednář, the Sales Director of BEDNAR, talks about entering new markets: “Our business strategy for Spain and Portugal will be like our entry to the Italian market three years ago. However, the Italian market has undergone some transformation in recent years. Large-scale farmers and service providers want both high-quality machines for soil cultivation, fertilisation and seeding, and high daily outputs. They do not mind paying for quality. Today, Italy is one of the fastest growing markets.

I saw the high professionalism when I travelled through Spain and Portugal, visiting large-scale farmers and service providers. The local farmers know exactly what they want. They look for modern machines that work precisely and have a high daily output as well. Our Company, BEDNAR, manufactures such machines and they will be available in Spain and Portugal starting this year,” Jan Bednář adds.

BEDNAR is expanding its sales network in the Iberian Peninsula
