BEDNAR FMT
The competition recognises and supports manufacturers and importers of agricultural machines as well as the actual farmers who are putting innovative technologies into practice or have achieved outstanding results on their farms.
At the 11th “Contribution to Mechanisation” competition organised by prominent state institutions, universities and representatives of professional agricultural publishing houses, INTERAGRI Bulgaria, the importer of BEDNAR machines for Bulgaria, received an award for innovation for the DIRECTO NO seed drill.

The competition recognises and supports manufacturers and importers of agricultural machines as well as the actual farmers who are putting innovative technologies into practice or have achieved outstanding results on their farms.
The DIRECTO NO seed drill is designed for direct drilling. Its robust design and special seeding unit ensure a down pressure of up to 300 kg per seed coulter. The seed drill is standardly equipped with a dual-chamber pressurised hopper with a total capacity of 5,000 litres. Upon request, the machine can be equipped with an ALFA DRILL seeding unit with a capacity of 400 litres.
The DIRECTO NO seed drill features seed coulters arranged in two rows. The inter-row distance is 16.7 cm, while the distance between the seed coulters is 33.4 cm. The sufficient distance allows high machine throughput, for example when establishing crop stands on land with a large amount of organic matter.
The DIRECTO NO offers a high variability of crop stand establishment – seed (e.g. two crop types) can be deposited at different depths or fertiliser can be deposited “under the seed” and slightly to the side with specially designed fertilisation discs over the entire surface, in every other row, or in a single pass.
