Autumn Soil Cultivation with the ACTROS RO Combined Cultivator

The ACTROS RO combined cultivator is quite a new addition to the BEDNAR product portfolio. Since its introduction to the market two years ago, it has become quite popular with many customers, namely in countries such as Hungary, Ukraine or Romania where grain corn is grown a lot.

High Throughput Is the Basis

ACTROS RO is designed as a combined cultivator for incorporating large quantities of crop residue, catch crop as well as for cultivating fields where manure or slurry has been used. The excellent throughput is provided by the design of the machine with a high frame clearance of 80 cm, and large spacing between the individual discs and tines of the chisel section.

The Largest Discs on the Market

The disc section has the largest disc diameter in this category on the market. The disc diameter is 690 × 6 mm, offering maximum depth of up to 18 centimetres. The spacing of the individual discs in the row is 42.5 cm, ensuring trouble-free work with high throughput. The first disc row works at a greater angle than the second one.

Chisel Section with Release Force of up to 550 kg

The chisel section with ACTIVE-MIX tines can be equipped with chisels with a width of 60 mm, or 40 and 80 mm, in both standard and LONG LIFE configuration. In case of shallow soil cultivation, the chisels can be fitted with wings, 125 or 185 mm large. The wings cut the root layer and guarantee quality cultivation along the entire working span. The tines have a robust NON-STOP vertical protection with a release force of 550 kg.

Hydraulic Setting as Basic Equipment

The working depth of the individual sections is set hydraulically. It is the basic equipment of the machine. The working depth of the chisel section is set hydraulically by inserting the required number of hydraulic clips onto the hydraulic cylinders of the rear packers. The working depth of the disc section is set hydraulically on the hydraulic cylinders of the disc section, once again, using the hydraulic clips.

ACTROS RO is used in agricultural businesses that mostly grow grain corn. The maximum working depth of the working section is also suitable for loosening and aerating the hardened subsoil layer.

BEDNAR currently offers the machine with a working width of 3 m and two machine models (rigid and folding) with a working width of 4 m. We recommend using ACTROS RO with tractors from 180 to 370 HP in relation to the conditions and terrain.
