Mechanical cultivation and crop stand treatment constitute an ever-growing trend in agricultural practice. Rotary cultivators are therefore finding interesting applications as a versatile and effective tool for coping with new challenges (new legislative requirements, the reduction of chemical crop protection products and pressure to ensure careful soil management).
The rotary cultivator is mainly designed for mechanical disposal of shallow-rooting weeds in cultivated crop stands (e.g. wheat, corn, sugar beet, soybean, etc.).
The ROTO-MASTER RMN rotary cultivator can also be used for aerating the crop stand, breaking up clumps and soil crust, shallow incorporation of fertilisers into the soil, and to promote plant tillering. The great advantage of the rotary cultivator is its low energy consumption, high working speed and high daily output.
The great advantage of the ROTO-MASTER RMN rotary cultivator is the option of using the machine not only for the cultivation of cereal crop stands, but also for the inter-row cultivation of wide-row crops (e.g. corn and sunflower) by easily removing the cultivation units. The individual rotary star wheels are fitted with rods that can be easily replaced in the event of damage or wear without having to replace the entire working tool.
The ROTO-MASTER RMN is a mounted rotary cultivator with a working width of 6 m to 12.4 m. The machine has a robust frame with high clearance for mechanical cultivation of crop stands even in the later stages of growth. As part of the basic equipment, the machine features mechanically adjustable support wheels with a hydraulically adjustable track width.
