The EFECTA CE large air drill has a working width of 39′ 4″. In its category, it is an extremely versatile air drill, equipped with two pressurised tanks with a capacity of 170 bu. It can be equipped with four types of front equipment installed in front of the drill openers. The large working width in combination with a high working speed guarantees achieving high daily outputs.

EFECTA CE is an extremely versatile air drill with a working width of 39′ 4″ and exceptionally low demands for the tractor power. That provides high working speed and effectiveness of the whole set. The EFECTA CE large air drill can seed up to 50 acres per hour. Even with this hourly output, EFECTA CE can establish crops with high seeding amounts.

The two pressurized tanks enable seeding the crop together with mid row fertiliser placement in one pass, or mixing seeds with fertilizer in the metering piping. The fertilizer dosing and the selected seeding amount are completely independent of one another.

The EFECTA CE large air drill can also be used for establishing several types of crop. One tank can be filled with the main crop seeds, the other tank with the subsidiary crop seeds. This structural design makes it possible to seed two crops together, bringing new agronomic opportunities in response to the current farming requirements. The seeding amount of the crops can be set individually.

To use the performance potential, both tanks can be used for one type of seed. It will reduce the time needed for refilling the tank and increase the efficiency of the EFECTA CE large air drill.

The hydraulically controlled Crushbar leveller is especially suitable for the final surface levelling in front of the drill openers. It is easily controlled using the hydraulic circuit from the comfort of the cabin.

PROFI coulters are specially shaped, hydraulically controlled discs. They enable the operator to quickly respond to the current conditions. It is important seed drill equipment for heavier soils.

TURBO coulters are sharp discs. The coulters work in the same line as the rear drill openers. It is important air drill equipment when drilling directly into a stubble field, or in the cover crop.

FERTI coulter are used for fertilizer application. The fertilizer placement depth is adjustable independently of the seed placement depth. The coulters are designed with a spacing of 5″ / 6.5″ for a high throughput.

Automatic switching of the individual sections based on a GPS signal. EFECTA CE has four sections, each 9′ 10″ wide.

Variable application of seeds and fertilizer (adjustment according to the seeding amount and dosage) based on the regulatory maps according to the air drill position.

Two-way data transmission from PC to the screen terminal (seeded area, seeded amount and other data).

The required seeding amount can be entered in lbs/acre or in units per m2 (in this case, seed HTS and germination capacity also have to be entered).

Allows setting the air drill so that the seeds are in the drill openers at the right time when starting, or lowering or lifting the drill into the working or headland position.

FOUR DISTRIBUTION TOWERS

Even high-quantity application.

EFECTA CE is equipped with four distribution towers for even distribution of seed / fertilizer to the individual drill openers and for the ability to apply high doses of fertilizer and seeds. That ensures the same distance to all drill openers from the distribution tower. This solution also offers a sectional control by every 9′ 10″ of the working width.

WELL-ESTABLISHED USE OF PARALLEL LINKAGE

For disc drill openers and seed bar sections.

The drill opener sections are mounted on the side frames using a parallel linkage and each drill opener uses its own parallel link within the proven PSP system. The combination of such mounting provides unparalleled terrain contouring and maintaining a constant depth of seeding along the entire working width.

TWO ROW SPACING OPTIONS

5" or 6.5"

The EFECTA CE large air drill can be equipped, as standard, with drill openers with an row spacing of 5″ suitable for cropping systems with a high ratio of cereals in the crop rotation. The row spacing of 6.5″ is suitable for seeding with large quantities of crop residue on the surface.

EXCELLENT SEED PLACEMENT

Precisely designed drill opener.

The double-disc air drill with an offset disc cuts crop residue and creates a clean and prepared groove for even seed placement. There is either a standard, or carbide scraper between two discs. The seeds are then covered with fine soil and pressed down into the soil by the packer wheel. The packer wheel is available in two sizes: 13″×2″ and 13″×2.5″

BLOCKAGE SENSORS

Keep track of the throughput of each drill opener.

The air drill can be equipped with blockage sensors on request. The device ensures that if a drill opener gets clogged, the information is displayed on the screen. That guarantees maximum seeding precision.

SAFE TRANSPORT

The large air drill meets the E.U. requirements.

Even though the EFECTA CE air drill has a working width of 39′ 4″, its transport on roads is easy and safe. The side frames of the air drill fold forward and the transport length is only 25′ 11″. The wide arrangement of the transport wheels provides a good stability, even at higher speed. The compact dimensions also contribute to easy and fast turning at headland.

FAST, SAFE AND EASY

Two tanks filling.

The fast and comfortable filling of the EFECTA CE air drill tanks are ensured by an easily accessible and wide platform with railing and steps. To fill the tanks, the steel lid swings by 90°. The tanks filling level is indicated by two sensors. One is installed higher and its angle is adjustable, the other one is installed in the lower third of the tank.

PROFI coulter section

The specially shaped PROFI coulters offer an excellent crumbling effect. They are suitable for heavier soils.

Distribution towers

Provide even seed/fertilizer distribution to the individual drill openers. They enable sectional control for every 9′ 10″ of the width.

Seed bar

The individual sections of the seed bar are suspended on a parallel link on the side frames for perfect contouring. Optional row spacing of 5″ or 6.5″.

Double-disc drill openers

The drill openers are mounted to the seed bar sections using a parallel linkage, which provides even seed placement at a constant depth level. Optional row spacing of 5″ or 6.5″.

Two pressurised tanks

The pressurised tanks enable seeding large amounts of seeds and improves the precision of seeding. The whole air drill tank is divided in the ratio of 60:40.

OUR INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES

DOUBLE EDGE DRILL OPENERS

The implement moves away from the ideal line and wobbles when seeding. That creates increased gaps, or so-called “eyes” between the individual rides in the field (with standard arrangement of the drill openers). All those deficiencies are eliminated with our innovative design – the double edge drill openers. When there is a deviation from the ideal line, the growth is only thinned locally without any significant gaps, or eyes“.

PRESSURISED TANK MODEL

EFECTA CE is equipped with a two pressurized tanks for seeding precision and crop establishment, even with higher seeding amounts. The two tanks of the EFECTA CE air drill offers a total capacity of 170 bu in the ratio of 60:40.

DRILL OPENER PSP SYSTEM

The double-disc drill openers are attached to the seed bar frame with a parallel linkage. The design provides perfect terrain contouring and even seed placement at the same depth along the entire width of the machine.

Drill openers

Drill openers with an row distance of 6.5″.

The row spacing of 6.5″ provides better material throughput. It is suitable for technologies with larger quantities of crop residue on the surface.

Drill openers with an row spacing of 5″.

The row spacing of 5″ offers plants better competitiveness against weeds and improves the engagement of the crop.

Crushbar leveller

The hydraulically controlled leveller is suitable for levelling unevenness and surface before the drill coulters.

FERTI coulters

FERTI coulters are used for applying fertilizer in the mid rows. The FERTI coulter creates a groove where the application end piece applies the fertilizer.

TURBO coulters

TURBO coulters are discs with a sharp cutting edge. The coulters work in the same line as the rear drill openers. They cut the trash and soil, where the drill opener places the seeds.

PROFI coulters

The specially shaped PROFI coulters offer an excellent crumbling effect and finalise the work of the disc gang. Especially suitable for heavy soils.

AGRONOMICAL GUIDE

MAIN AND INTERMEDIATE CROP ESTABLISHMENT
The main reasons for using intermediate crop in the seeding methods in the past few years lie in the legislation and ecology. The pressure on implementing better principles to limit soil and air erosion is increasing, as well as on improving the balance of organic matter, increasing water infiltration in soil, and reducing the application of chemicals. In the long term, intermediate crop can improve the condition of soil environment, increase the share of organic matter and thus work better with the limiting factors of yield, such as moisture and nutrition of the main crop.
