Disc cultivator SWIFTERDISC XO_F at AGRO VYSOČINA BYSTRÉ

“We grow classic crops like wheat, malting barley, corn and winter rapeseed. Rye is another interesting crop grown on the farm. Our livestock production includes 430 dairy cows and a total of 1,200 heads of cattle, including bulls for fattening, heifers and calves. One interesting feature of our company is that we operate our own bakery, from which we supply products to a number of wholesale and retail outlets in our own and surrounding regions,” says Director Bc. Jan Dittrich.

According to its director, AGRO VYSOČINA BYSTRÉ farms on all types of soils, from light to heavy. In terms of crop production, they apply conventional soil tillage, mostly with tillage due to the requirement to incorporate large amounts of manure. The company started looking for a new disc cultivator due to a generational replacement of the existing machine. Based on the test results, the company purchased the SWIFTERDISC XO 6000F disc cultivator.

“We first tested the SWIFTERDISC XO_F before purchasing it. We tested the machine after tillage, when it worked as a seedbed cultivator. We truly appreciated its ability to maintain the working depth, and the Crushbar front levelling board did its job. We also required a high-quality packer on the machine. Results of testing led us to the decision to purchase a SWIFTERDISC XO 6000F disc cultivator, which we connect to a 200–260 HP tractor. We us the truly versatile SWIFTERDISC for the first and second stubble cultivation, as well as pre-sowing soil treatment,” said the company director, summarizing the use of the machine.

At AGRO VYSOČINA BYSTRÉ, they have opted for a popular specification in the form of a machine equipped with front support wheels, the hydraulically adjustable Crushbar front levelling board, 560 mm diameter aggressive discs, hydraulic working depth control and a rear V-RING packer.
