The wide working width MULCHER MM is equipped with a total of five rotors. The 7-metre working width makes this rotary mower ideal for high daily outputs. The arrangement of the individual mulching tools ensures an intensive shredding effect combined with high resistance to wear and a robust design. MULCHER MM is suitable for mulching both permanent grassland and crop residues after the harvest of cereals and oilseed crops.

Mulching contributes to a balanced growth of biomass, management of ungrazed grass (bad quality forage not grazed by the cattle), it promotes grass offsetting, and also prevents the development of weeds.

In this case, the rotary mower chops, shortens and evenly distributes the mulched material, which is then better incorporated into the soil and also decomposes faster. Mulching is also important for mechanical prevention of diseases and elimination of pests, such as the European corn borer.

MULCHER MM wide working width rotary mowers are highly durable and designed for heavy-duty operations. Hot-dip galvanised coating of the machine provides high resistance to vegetation sap, collision with rocks, or weather conditions.

TWO PAIRS OF BLADES

Perfect material cutting.

Quality mulching requires a large rotor diameter and high circumferential speed. The MULCHER MM wide rotary mower is equipped with two pairs of blades on the rotor to ensure excellent quality of work. The blades can be used both for mulching grasses and processing crop residues.

CENTRAL WALKING AXLE

For better terrain contouring.

When compared with the standard model, MULCHER MM can be equipped with a walking version of the central axle. The machine is then able to contour the terrain and maintain the set working width. You can achieve a better effect in combination with the tandem version of the side axles.

FRICTION CLUTCH

An effective protection of the gearbox.

The transmission of the MULCHER MM semi-mounted rotary mower is protected against damage (for example, in the case of a collision with a rock, etc.) with a friction clutch that automatically stops all the transmission processes. The PTO shaft connecting the tractor with the gearbox is equipped with a friction clutch.

SMOOTH SURFACE

Prevents dirt from sticking to the machine.

MULCHER MM can be equipped with cover plates of the main frames. The plates are smooth and minimise the sticking of plant residue on the machine.

TRASH-FAN

Machine cleaning equipment.

The main component is the fan that creates a stream of air and the wind straighteners direct air to the risk areas on the machine surface. The equipment prevents dirt and plant matter from sticking on the machine surface. It improves work safety and reduces time spent with cleaning.

To increase the shredding effect, fixed knifes in the front part of the mulching zone cut the material again, which improves the quality of the mulching.

The spreading deflectors ensure that the rotary mower works perfectly as they evenly spread the mulched material. They prevent the formation of plant clumps and larger amounts of matter in one place.

The MULCHER MM wide working width rotary mower is equipped with replaceable armoured plates that protect the machine frame from damage. Moreover, each rotor is protected with its own cover which enables work in an extremely low position above the ground.

Drawbar

The rotary mower is easily connected to the bottom or top tractor hitch. It can also be connected using the K80 ball pin.

Blades

Two pairs of blades provide an excellent cutting and crushing effect. There are two blade models available – grass and corn.

Axle

The central walking axle provides excellent terrain contouring.

Frame covers

Smooth plates minimize the accumulation of plant residues on the rotary mower and facilitate cleaning.

Skids

The skids maintain the set working height.

Hot-dip galvanised coating

Provides an outstanding resistance to aggressive vegetation sap or mechanical damage (e.g., collision with a rock).

Trash-Fan

It prevents dirt and plant matter from sticking on the machine surface and increases work safety.

Blades

Corn blades

By combining two types of knives, we have achieved double cutting of tough stalks, such as grain maize, sunflowers and oilseed rape. The stalks are cut at two levels at the same time.

Grass blades

The paddle-shaped blades are suitable for mulching permanent grasslands. The paddle-shaped knives create a suction effect, which lifts the grass run over by the tractor wheels and helps mulching the grass.

Processing crop residues after harvest is important for several reasons. Crop residues are a source of organic matter therefore it is not desirable to simply leave it in the field without attention. Crop residues may be unevenly spread which aggravates tillage or they help to spread pests and disease.
