Combination cultivators are the ideal solution for high-quality tillage in a single pass, even with large amounts of post-harvest residues. They are best suited for cultivating stubble after crops such as corn or sunflowers.
The ACTROS RO combination cultivator combines the advantages of disc and tine sections. This effective combination ensures optimal cutting, mixing and loosening of the soil in a single operation. This makes the ACTROS RO an extremely efficient machine for demanding conditions and modern minimum tillage technology.
Combination cultivators excel in combining disc and tine sections, allowing them to perform several agrotechnical operations in a single pass. The disc section cuts and shallowly mixes large amounts of crop residues and organic matter with the soil, while the tine section ensures deep loosening and thorough incorporation of the material into the soil profile.
The ACTROS RO combination cultivators are mainly used in minimum tillage systems, where the emphasis is on a minimum number of passes, effective mixing of material, and high-quality tillage preparation for subsequent operations.

The ACTROS RO combination disc-tine machine is equipped with the largest diameter discs on the market (690 mm), which ensure excellent cutting performance even in tough crop residue conditions. The disc spacing guarantees a smooth flow of material and trouble-free operation with high throughput up to a depth of 16 cm.
The disc section is followed by a tine section, which allows for intensive deep loosening. The maximum working depth reaches up to 35 cm, making the ACTROS RO a high-performance machine for deep tillage within modern minimum tillage methods.

The ACTROS RO combination cultivators are produced in working widths of 3 and 3.8 metres. The machine is equipped with robust cast iron tines, which can be protected against overload either hydraulically or with horizontal double spring, ensuring reliable protection of the working components even when operating in stony or other demanding conditions.
A significant advantage of the ACTROS RO model is the possibility of working without rear packers. This design solution is particularly advantageous when working in less favourable, especially wet conditions, where the use of packers may be limited.
