Last week, the BOOTCAMP event took place in Germany, which is regularly organised by the German publisher of TRACTION magazine. This year’s edition focused on the presentation of seed drills with a working width of three metres – from conventional models to no-till technology and seed drill combinations. BEDNAR could not miss this opportunity.
Preview of the SONIQ ON seed drill combination at TRACTION BOOTCAMP
BEDNAR was the only manufacturer to present a completely new seed drill model, which will make its official debut at AGRITECHNICA 2025. This is a seed drill combination called SONIQ ON, which was created by combining three machines – KATOR KN power harrows, a SEED BOX SB mounted hopper and a specially designed seed bar. It uses a proven parallel linkage system with 60 kg of pressure on each seed coulter.

As optional equipment, SONIQ ON is equipped with a 1,600-litre hopper (standard version 1,000 litres)
The SONIQ ON seed drill combination was aggregated with a CLAAS AXION 870 tractor in a special limited edition NIGHT EDITION at the event. The combination of the new BEDNAR machine and the uniquely painted CLAAS tractor attracted considerable attention from visitors.
SONIQ ON will be officially launched for the year 2026. It will offer a range of proven technical solutions: a large number of rotors, three bearings per rotor, pressurised hopper, parallel linkage of seed coulters and simple control via the ISOBUS system. An interesting feature is the fan drive via the LOAD SENSING system.
