The VERSATILL VN_L mounted cultivator is a light tine cultivator designed primarily for seedbed preparation, but it is also suitable for shallow stubble cultivation after harvest, up to a depth of 10 centimeters, particularly in lighter soils. Its compact dimensions, combined with a convenient weight, make it possible to connect with small tractors starting at 100 horsepower.

The VERSATILL VN_L mounted cultivator has individual working tines arranged in four rows. The spacing between the individual tines is 15 centimetres. These technical parameters enable the machine to achieve excellent undercutting of the soil profile and mixing crop residues with soil.
VERSATILL VN_L is also suitable for early spring seedbed preparation thanks to its light, but durable construction. Four rows of tines can be equipped with various types of points or shares. The main working section is followed with a packer that crumbles and closes the soil profile. The harrow provides the final even distribution of soil particles.
The VERSATILL VN_L mounted tine cultivator is equipped with the “Standard” tines (vibration, single-spring tines). These tines are suitable for lighter types of soil. In the case of heavier soils and frequent use of the machine for shallow cultivation of up to 10 cm, we recommend using the reinforced tines (reinforced, two-spring vibration Hercules tines).
Tines can be equipped with shares or points according to the expected field work. The 200-mm share guarantees 100% overlap. The LONG-LIFE 200-mm share has carbide cutting edges that increase its durability. The 60 mm double-sided points are suitable for early spring seedbed preparation or stubble cultivation in lighter soils. We also offer 50 mm LONG LIFE tines with carbide cutting edges.
Driving across the field should be kept to minimum especially during spring cultivation, in order to preserve winter moisture in soil. The VERSATILL VN_L mounted tine cultivator can be equipped with the hydraulically-controlled Crushbar, mounted in the front, with a comfortable control of the working angle from the tractor cabin during work.
As a customer, you can choose from two types of working depth control. The working depth is set mechanically (standard equipment), or VERSATILL VN_L can be equipped with the highly comfortable hydraulic working depth adjustment from the comfort of the tractor cabin.
The side frames of the VERSATILL VN_L mounted tine cultivator can be equipped with support wheels for perfect terrain contouring on request. They help cultivate the field along the entire width of the machine evenly at the set working depth.

They are used for loosening hardened tracks created by the tractor. The track eradicators are fitted with a chisel mounted on a tine.
The hydraulically controlled Crushbar levelling bar is especially suitable for initial surface levelling and for breaking the rough furrow before the disc section. The individual levelling paddles are reinforced. It is easily controlled using the hydraulic circuit from the comfort of the cabin.
The cage roller is made of massive steel rods with a good crumbling effect, particularly when reaching higher working speed. Packer diameter 530 mm. A suitable design for light soils. Weight: 102 kg/m.
This packer consists of a tube and slatted packer with different diameters. The packer is suitable for cultivating medium and light types of soil in drier conditions. Packer diameter 470 and 370 mm. Weight: 132 kg/m.
The U-RING packer is a double-row steel packer. The rows are offset, which provides an excellent self-cleaning effect. The packer is great for crumbling, and the U-shape rings and the low risk of clogging make it suitable for work in wet conditions. The double packer increases machine stability at work. Packer diameter 500 mm.
The Spring packer is a single-row, light, steel packer made of rings. A suitable packer for lighter soils. Packer diameter 530 mm.
It is used for seeding catch crops, grasses, or for all-area fertiliser placement. You can do two operations in one pass and reduce your costs.
Used for levelling surface before the rear packer. Suitable equipment for machines used in lighter soils.

SEEDBED PREPARATION
Seedbed preparation is an important operation for the formation of a uniform and balanced seedbed prior to crop establishment. Each crop and field requires different seedbed preparation based on the climate, or the chosen date of cultivation. The aim of the seedbed preparation is to create an ideal soil structure in the field, with a harder bottom and loose top soil layer, to level the field after previous operations, and to open, warm up and aerate the soil profile for even crop emergence.
