The tradition continues: the new ATLAS AE_PROFI for Donau Farm Semat a.s.

Several yellow BEDNAR machines are already in operation within the Donau Farm Group, these include STRIEGEL-PRO PN straw harrows, TERRALAND TO and TN_PROFI chisel ploughs and ROW-MASTER RN_S inter-row cultivators. As of this summer, the second example of the ATLAS AE_PROFI model will be added.

“The agricultural company Donau Farm Semat a.s. farms an area of approximately 6,000 hectares. In total, as a group, we farm an area of 30,000 hectares. For example, we grow winter wheat (8 t/ha), spring barley in malting quality with a yield of around 6.5 t/ha, winter rape (3 t/ha). Other crops include sugar beet, sunflowers, maize and peas. We farm on mainly heavy chernozems. In terms of tillage technology, we use conventional tillage, minimal tillage and strip-till technology,” says Ing. Andrea Golisová, Ph.D., Chief Agronomist of Donau Farm Semat a.s.

Donau Farm Semat a.s. selects the machine in the TOP configuration. The ATLAS AE_PROFI disc cultivator is equipped with 620 mm diameter discs as standard. In this case, the choice fell on the standard disc version. Between the two rows of discs there is a tine crumb screen, which increases the crumbling effect of the discs and directs the flow of processed soil away from the front discs. This deep disc cultivator is also equipped with the popular and versatile U-RING type double packer.

It is a machine equipped with the BEDNAR EASY CONTROL system (electro-hydraulic machine adjustment). This deep disc harrow is equipped with two control units which are connected to the control terminal via ISOBUS cable. This is a combination of hydraulic control of the working parts of the machine by means of the LOAD SENSING hydraulic system of the tractor and electronic control of the hydraulic circuits.

The BEDNAR EASY CONTROL system offers the possibility to change the working depth continuously, as well as to regulate individual machine parts and the folding and unfolding system from the comfort of the tractor cab.
